I’ve noticed this interesting phenomenon on here regarding the release of the Songbirds and Snakes movie trailer and that people seem to forget that the characters… are fictional.

Specifically taking the moral high ground over people who find Tom Blythe as Snow attractive. Like I haven’t seen a single person say that Snow is a good person or that his horrific actions are excusable. But some people are acting like making a thirst edit is condoning child prostitution, torture, murder, etc.

Idk I just think people aren’t as stupid as some may think and most do actually in fact have the mental brain power to not actually think Snow is a redeemable character.

Reading comprehension isn’t as lost on humanity as some may think. Like he’s obviously a genuinely evil and cold-hearted human being. But Tom Blythe looks good blonde and those two things can exist at the same time.

haggardy old men really found out willow (2022) would have lgbtq+ and poc representation and made a calculated effort to instantly dismiss it to wider audiences by spamming youtube and discords with clickbait posts and storming imdb and rotten tomatoes with bad reviews. don’t want to reshare them in any way but titles like ”WOKE garbage” and ”everyone is gay!” are so strategic in trying to drown out all the love for this show that has just been growing and growing. anyway PLEASE SUPPORT THIS SHOW, it’s actually so wonderful and i for one am glad it’s really, really gay <3
