Kunio:

1.) Kunio does intricate and expensive cosplays. This one isn’t a headcanon, it IS canon, so 10/10

2.) Kunio is in your house. If you’re hosting a party, or DnD, then yes. Otherwise, no. 6/10

3.) Kunio voted sans in the tumblr sexyman poll. 0/10. Kunio is into a very specific type of man, and Sans doesn’t cut it. His favorite tumblr sexyman would probably be Sebastian Michaelis.

4.) Kunio desperately needs a hug but doesn't know it and refuses to ask for one. Ok, yeah, this one is canon, 100%. 10/10

Nathaniel:

1.) Nathaniel does intricate and expensive cosplays. This one again, huh? But yeah, this is canon. Nathaniel literally owns a Victorian fashion label, of course he dabbles in cosplay. 10/10

2.) Nathaniel tackles and wrestles people to show affection. 0/10, he won’t so much as shake your hand unless you give him express permission to do so.

3.) Nathaniel has been to prison. Again, 0/10. Nathaniel is an angel, he’s never even gotten a parking ticket before.

4.) Nathaniel reads ao3. 8/10. He’s not in a lot of fandoms, but the ones he’s in are very small and close-knit. He reads the most wretched smut, and has kinks that would make even the most hardcore fanfiction writer blush, and no one aside from Kunio knows about it.

Ariel:

1.) Ariel has one, very simple word that they cannot figure out how to pronounce. 4/10. There are no words in particular that she struggles with, but sometimes she has a hard time reciting her spells quickly in battle

2.) Ariel chews their nails when nervous. 1/10. Ariel doesn’t exhibit any outward signs of nerves if she can help it, as she knows that doing so makes her look like an easy target. Her police training days are forever burned into her brain.

3.) Ariel would buy clothes from the soup store. 4/10. She does most of her shopping online. She does, however, know that reference.

4.) Ariel forgets to eat sometimes. 10/10, this one is canon. She keeps a supply of protein shakes and instant ramen in her apartment so that she can eat without having to cook or order takeout, but sometimes she forgets to even boil water for the ramen, or get up to get up to get a protein shake from the fridge.

Solana:

1.) Solana can drive. 8/10. She can, but because she lives in the middle of Winchester, she doesn’t need to very often. Winchester has everything you could ever need within walking distance.

2.) Solana reads wattpad. 7/10. She does sometimes, but only out of morbid curiosity. Her fans write creepy fanfiction about her and her friends.

3.) Solana always has a knife on them. 4/10. It’s not a knife, but rather, a magical lyre capable of shooting lasers and creating exploding light orbs.

4.) Solana will go feral. Watch out. 10/10, this one is canon. If you lay a finger on Ariel, she’ll blast you into the pits of Tartarus, and relish the sound of your screams as you’re imprisoned there for all eternity.

Let’s rank on a Richter Scale 1-10, with 1 being “couldn’t be further from the truth,” and 10 being “Exactly scary dead-on accuracy”

Peter:

1. Will beat someone up if Peter thinks they deserve it. 10/10

No explanation needed. He will absolutely do this.

2. Peter was dropped out of a window as a child. 8/10

He was the one dropping himself out of a window as a child (and nearly as an adult, too 😂)

3. Peter is in your house. 10/10

😨….

Benjamin:

1. Benjamin instinctively cleans messes in their own house as well as other peoples. 7/10

He likes a neat and tidy place, but usually the castle maids would do the cleaning. On a pirate ship? Those duties got stuck with him, and not by choice.

2. Benjamin has not showered in two and a half weeks. 9/10

Nowhere to really shower on a pirate ship in the 17th century….unless you count all the times he’s “accidentally” got clean in the ocean 😬

3. Benjamin could easily survive The Hunger Games. 4/10

Depends on what stage of the book. Early on? He’s dead. Later? He has a little more of a fighting chance. Odds still aren’t always in his favor 😂

Ali:

1. Ali shops exclusivaly at Hot Topic. 5/10

Window shops, absolutely. But he is able to “borrow” the designs for his own wardrobe 🧞‍♂️✨

2. Ali has a pet snake. 1/10

No pets. They wouldn’t do well in the lamp.

3. Ali sings in the shower. 10/10

Noah:

1. Noah is a dog person. 6/10

He’s more of a cat person, but Ali has the personality of a golden retriever so he may as well be tolerant of them 😂

2. Noah is an introvert. 10/10

‘Nuff said.

3. If Noah likes someone, they will give them a pretty rock. 7/10

Yeah, I could see it. The trick is getting Noah to like someone…🤔✨

Tenshi:

1. Tenshi is not allowed to drink energy drinks. 10/10

He’s already excitable. He’s turn into the meme of the person ricocheting off the walls with any more added caffeine

2. Tenshi is a switch. 1/10

Tenshi is a bottom.

3. Tenshi gets ready for christmas way too early. 10/10

He lives with a few humbugs though so they’re keeping him from putting up decorations in July 😂

Thanks for the asks! I would say that my writing style was heavily inspired by that T.J. Klune, (Who is, by the way, one of my favorite authors), and also Ai Yazawa. Nana is one of my all-time favorite manga, and it was actually the key inspiration for The Tengu And The Angel. I knew that I wanted to write a realistic story about two strangers becoming roommates, and the lifelong connection formed between them, but unlike Nana, I wanted it to have a happy ending, so I thought, why not make it a romance? I also took inspiration from the works of Kunio Yanagita and Ryunosuke Akutagawa (And yes, that is where the names of Kunio and his grandfather, Ryunosuke came from) to build the mythological elements of the story.

As for where I like to write….Sorry to disappoint, but this has a far less glamorous answer. I do most of my writing on the couch, or sometimes cross-legged on the floor surrounded by empty instant ramen cups. It’s weird, but sitting on the floor helps me focus better ^o^
