3.) What is the limit of your loyalty?

Do not repeat anything I tell you unless I give you express permission to do so. If you share any information of mine with anyone, you cannot be trusted and therefore cannot be a part of my life. I will cut you off without a second thought if you betray me like this. If you want to be with a highly secretive indie game developer/magical girl whose true identity is known by less than a handful of people, there are certain rules you have to follow. It’s not personal, it’s business…

1. What is your biggest regret?

Mmmm…..maybe that I couldn’t resolve anything with my brothers before I left. Something tells me they wouldn’t have listened anyway, but…I always felt a little guilty about running away. It had to be done, though; if I didn’t try to break out of the Heavenly Realms, I would still be trapped there, never to be able to see what wonders Earth has to offer ✨

2. Do you try to resolve a threatening situation peacefully or do the fists start flying?

Oh goodness!! I-I don’t wanna start a fight if I can help it!! I think most conflicts can be solved with words….it does no good to beat up on people!

3. How easy or difficult is it for you to stay on a budget?

B-budget? Uh…usually I let Ita handle all of that….I-I don’t spend a lot of yen, do I Ita…?

Hey you! Yes, you, reading this. Are you looking for something to add to your reading list? Are you in the market for a high fantasy novel that isn’t another bland Tolkien rip off? Because boy, do I have a book recommendation for you, and the book in question is Shadow’s Hidden Blade by one of my moots on here, @alwri-tes! What’s it about? I’m glad you asked, so let me give you a brief run-down of the plot:

Several hundreds of years ago, the world was ruled by two gods, Light and Shadow, until war broke out between the two. Not wanting to use humans or changelings to fight their battles for them, the two gods created puppets, super soldiers whose sole purpose was to fight for the gods who created them. Light emerged victorious, and Shadow was banished. In the present, Isabella, a changeling, goes to the Immortal Circus, where her mother, Tamsen, was murdered several years ago, in the hopes of finding and exacting revenge upon her mother’s killer. It’s there that she meets the ringmaster, Peter, who tells her that a Shadow-worshipping cult called the Eternals were to blame for Tamsen’s murder, and advises that she infiltrate their ranks as a Tool, a low-ranking member of the cult, to find her mother’s killer. The Eternals are capable of resurrecting the dead, however the dead don’t have any memories of their previous lives when they’re resurrected, and come back in a childlike state, requiring lengthy periods of rehabilitation. Things get especially complicated when Ursa, one of the circus performers, also becomes involved with the cult, and as Isabella learns the truth about her mother’s murder, Ursa learns the truth about who she was before she joined the circus…And that Peter isn’t at all what he seems. I can’t say much else about it without spoiling most of the plot, but I will say that I could not put this one down. It was a gripping and fast-paced read from beginning to end, and hands down the best high fantasy novel I’ve read this year. Myrna’s eyes narrowed. “Everything ok? I’ve never seen you this nervous before.”

Solana pretended to look at the time on her phone. “Yeah, everything’s fine,” she said quickly, “I need to go and get ready.”

Solana ran to her bedroom and slammed the door behind her, stifling a sob. All she’d wanted was to have one last normal conversation with her best friend, and if she’d stayed a second longer, Myrna would’ve known that something wasn’t right. Solana wouldn’t have been able to explain it to her, of course, but Myrna would’ve kept pushing for an answer, and Solana would've broken down, and she didn’t want to break down, not now. She didn’t want Myrna’s last memory of her to be of her crying over something she could never understand. She wanted Myrna to have a happy last conversation to remember her by, and she’d just about managed that. Myrna’s last memory of Solana would be her getting excited for a date with Ariel, and if Solana survived the trip to the Underworld, she would meet Ariel, and see exactly what Solana saw in her. She would see a sweet, shy girl with a fierce creative streak who would stop at nothing to protect her. 

She doused herself in her favourite perfume–DKNY Be Delicious—And carefully packed the food and wine into a tote bag before heading off to meet Ariel. She found her standing at the front door of Abbey House, looking out over the gardens like she was the lady of the manor. 

“You look beautiful,” Ariel said as Solana approached her. 

Solana tucked one of Ariel’s bangs behind her ear. “We both look beautiful.”

wip TSA/The scarred angel

Little context : Amy meets Ashley for the second time (and for more than one minute).

She asks for an interview. Ashley's not having any of it.

Screw it!

She jumps in with both feet : "Herrera said you suspect a few disappearances as out of the ordinary, I'm here to report issues located in this area, any kind of information that the public would be..."

"You're fucking with me, right?" Ashley cuts her off without ceremony.

And Amy feels it again.

Embers ablaze in the pit of her stomach, fueling her.

Enough for her to lean into her left elbow, fingers still curled around her beer, turning on the stool so that her body faces Ashley, eyes sinking in that startled blue gaze that right now is all but kindly.

Leaned on her right, fingers around her glass Ashley mimics her posture and for a moment the two women look at each other as if dueling.

Ashley tsks : "This is ridiculous."

"What is?"

"Your interview idea"

"How so?"

"There is nothing to tell, to start with..."

Amy plays cards on the table : "Herrera said you went fishing for information."

Ashley narrows eyes and choose to not answer, she shrugs instead and keeps her mouth shut.

Amy visions right now that she's playing chess and Ashley could walk out from the game any moment lightheartedly.

Not caring at all about giving her version about any story at all, not even if it concerns her.

To prevent another silence from setting in Amy feels compelled to insist : "Do you think is there a problem indeed? To the point of ask Herrera..."

"Little lady, people on the border disappear by thousands." Ashley spits out the words.

Amy's turn to narrows eyes. Nice dodging the question.

"Apparently you seemed to think that these are different."

Ashley arches an eyebrow as a challenge : "Herrera said that?"

Amy frowns a little : "Kind of."

Two can play this game.

Incredulity is still written all over Ashley's face but when she speaks the tone is a tad too much offhand : "I'm probably wrong."

Amy counters: "Maybe not so much."

"Well, your idea still sounds ridiculous. Ask him if you want to interview someone, I'm not the one."

"Why going to see him then?"

"Just a twinge of conscience of an honorable citizen that's all."

Ashley glances away and downs the rest of her drink and Amy could swear she does it to stifle a laugh.

Which kind of irritates her : "I wasn't fucking with you by the way, about the interview." she says, voice strained but steady.

Ashley graces at least to look at her : "Too bad. Again, I'm not the one."

Flames begin to leap from the embers and Amy frowns more, her patience weakening : "I think it's you that now is fucking with me though."

Ashley's glass hits the counter surface with a clear thud while she slides down the stool.

"You must be delirious" is the rude answer.

She shakes her head, a sarcastic half smirk tugs at her lips

"Am I now?"

Ashley glares hard : "I have to pee" and off she goes.

What current or future wip are you looking forward to writing the most?

Thanks for the ask! After I’ve finished Night Of The Blue Moon, I’m pretty excited to get to work on Blood On A Yellow Rose. I’ve had the idea since at least 2022, and I’m excited about writing not one, but two canonically aromantic MCs (Nathaniel, the secondary MC of The Tengu And The Angel is demiromantic, so he’s on the aromantic spectrum, but Pamela and Zinnia are both completely aromantic). Pamela not only embraces her immortality as a vampire, but celebrates it, and the only drawback she finds with it is not having anyone to share it with due to being abandoned in favor of romantic relationships by her friends. There’s gonna be a lot of discussion about how platonic relationships aren’t valued by society, and how even lifelong friendships are tossed to one side as soon as one party enters a romantic relationship, and people are expected to just be ok with that. Both Pamela and Zinnia are tired of always being treated like second class citizens due to not wanting romantic relationships, and it’s through this that they learn that soulmates don’t have to be purely romantic in nature. They are each other’s soulmates.

I’m also really excited to start working on the sequel to Night Of The Blue Moon. The first book deals with Orpheus, a villain who is using his powers to bring back someone who doesn’t deserve to live, (His son, Brooklyn, a serial stalker and rapist) but the second book will deal with Mia Morrigan, a villain who kills people who she thinks don’t deserve to live. She is a nurse who stole the choker of Thanatos, and is using it to reap the souls of patients she doesn’t want to care for. At first, all of her victims were truly awful people (A serial rapist, and a drunk driver who killed the parents of a five year old girl), but as time went on, she started targeting people she simply didn’t like. Ariel, Solana, and perhaps a new ally (I haven’t decided who will be joining them yet, but it will probably be either Myrna or Raphael), will be charged with defeating Mia, and taking back Thanatos’ choker.

There was an uncomfortably long pause. “Your…Girlfriend…”

Solana shut her eyes. “Her name is Ariel, she’s a game developer, and I’ve been with her for a month now,” she responded, “She and Myrna helped me get started on my new channel.”

Solana gave Ariel a mischievous look as a fight scene between the precures and Fusion started to play. “Oh, no, we’re at one of the scary parts!” she said in mock terror, “Can we make out now?”

Ariel looked at her as if she’d asked if the sky was blue. “You don’t have to ask me twice.”

She pressed her lips against Solana’s, wanting to taste all of her, even though she tasted like duck chow mein and sweet and sour pork. Solana matched her rhythm, sighing softly into her mouth as their tongues met. It wasn’t a hungry kiss where their tongues wrestled for dominance, no, it was more of a slow, sensual tango, a dance of love and not lust. Right here, right now, Ariel knew that everything was ok, and that she was safe and loved. She wanted to drown in this moment, and make it last for as long as possible.

Once their pulses no longer rang in their ears, and their hearts were content and full, Ali pulled his head away from the pillow to look endearingly at Noah. Their faces were hot and flushed red…..Noah’s considerably moreso, a generous coating of rouge painting their visage. That same gorgeous face that left Ali smitten upon seeing Noah sleep that first night, more than how Allah already smote him. Gingerly, Ali leaned down to kiss Cauldwell again as Noah hummed in satisfied bliss into his lover’s mouth.

Though he puts on a tough, proud front, he carries a lot of hidden trauma from his childhood, but will not admit to it unless pushed to his breaking point. Character aged late teens, role would suit an actor in their late teens, however, actors in their early twenties will also be considered. All actors auditioning for this role must be able to demonstrate a natural-sounding southern British accent. All actors auditioning for this role must be able to patter sing, non patter singers will not be considered. Audition will consist of an individual round first, all actors who pass the individual round will be paired with an actor auditioning for the role of Nathaniel, and will be required to perform a duet for the second round

All actors auditioning for this role must be able to demonstrate a subtle, natural sounding Somerset accent. Audition will consist of an individual round first, all actors who pass the individual round will be paired with an actor auditioning for the role of Kunio, and will be required to perform a duet for the second round

Cold and stern, Ariel rarely if ever lets her emotions show, though she does have a kind heart and genuinely wants to make the world a better place. Character aged early twenties, all actresses auditioning for the role must also be in their early twenties. All actresses auditioning for this role must be able to perform ballet, especially pointe work, to a professional standard. Non-dancers, or beginner dancers will not be considered. Some knowledge of rhythmic gymnastics, specifically rhythmic ribbon, would be desirable. Audition will consist of an individual round first, all actresses who pass the individual round will be paired with an actress auditioning for the role of Solana, and will be required to perform a duet for the second round

Character aged mid twenties, all actresses auditioning for this role must be in their mid to late twenties. Some knowledge of parkour would be desirable, however it is not a requirement for the role. Audition will consist of an individual round first, all actresses who pass the individual round will be paired with an actress auditioning for the role of Ariel, and will be required to perform a duet for the second round

what is the most annoying thing about Ariel to you?

Thanks for the ask! If anything annoys me about her, it’s how stoic she is. It’s difficult to write her reactions to situations when she’s not a very emotional person, unlike Solana, and nothing unsettles her…

Oh, easily Ariel. She knows everything about me, but that’s because she’s the only person I can trust enough to share everything with. Not even Myrna can know that I’m Red Sun…The only reason Ariel gets to know is because she’s Blue Moon.

Where would you like to live, if you could choose?

I love Winchester, and I have no plans to ever leave. I love living here, but if I could, I’d move to a bigger apartment. I don’t have enough space in the one I live in now.

What keeps you motivated?

Love, and a bit of spite. I wanna make it as Kirameki Sunstone so that I can prove to everyone who doubted me that I have what takes to be an indie Vtuber. I wanna defeat Orpheus so that I can see the look on his face when he realises that Brooklyn is going to die, and there’s absolutely nothing he can do about it. But at the same time, I fight because I wanna protect Ariel, and I wanna prevent Brooklyn from coming back to life so that she never has to see the bastard who ruined her life ever again!

1. What is your biggest regret?

Mmmm…..maybe that I couldn’t resolve anything with my brothers before I left. Something tells me they wouldn’t have listened anyway, but…I always felt a little guilty about running away. It had to be done, though; if I didn’t try to break out of the Heavenly Realms, I would still be trapped there, never to be able to see what wonders Earth has to offer ✨

2. Do you try to resolve a threatening situation peacefully or do the fists start flying?

Oh goodness!! I-I don’t wanna start a fight if I can help it!! I think most conflicts can be solved with words….it does no good to beat up on people!

3. How easy or difficult is it for you to stay on a budget?

B-budget? Uh…usually I let Ita handle all of that….I-I don’t spend a lot of yen, do I Ita…?
