My dreams were simple, hoping that my life would continue as I wished. I persevered and hoped to build a future for myself and my family, but what happened was something I never expected because of the war that I and my family were exposed to. I lost my job and my passion for continuing my studies, my home, and a number of my family members because of the destruction and bombing that we were exposed to, which Many have been affected by it during the recent period

I can no longer bear the costs of living and studying without money or the slightest assistance, and with this we now live without money, food, or livable shelterTrying hard to get what would keep me alive and to complete my studies from these harsh conditions. Today I appeal to people of human conscience to help

 I just want the opportunity to get enough money for food, then for shelter, and then to complete my studies, and to achieve my dream of being an engineer and contributing to the progress of my society. I believe and am determined that if I get sufficient support, I will be able to succeed and rebuild my life and the life of my family

Beware of scammers, I’ve fallen prey to some trying to capitalize on the suffering of Palestinians. Fuck scammers, and make sure campaigns are vetted or seem very legitimate and are yet to be vetted.

I have a different kind of post to make this time, as it is both a confession and a warning.

A recent "campaign" I have shared, run by one @/mahmoudalkhalidi, has been pointed out to me by someone to (very likely) be a scam. I did attempt to check this to my best ability, but I must stress that I do not vet fundraisers. I am just a person trying to help as much as I possibly can with the little resources I have, and I will inevitably make mistakes. I am very sorry for any harm I caused, as I can always do better no matter the situation, and I will now attempt to rectify my mistakes.

Something that stands out to me in hindsight is that the person "managing" this campaign is one Sara A. This is significant because this entity has been involved in prevalent scams before (Mainly involving Paypal). I wish I would've noticed this sooner, but I will be keeping my eye out on GoFundMe aswell.

The main thing that legitimized this campaign to me is the lack of suspicious results when I put the provided images through a reverse search.

This, however, wasn't what it seemed. According to people in the comments of this post (the main thing which is instigating this), these photos were stolen from both an Instagram account and a deactivated account on Tumblr.

This is disgusting, to put it lightly. I feel horrible that I played a part in spreading this absolute disgrace to humanity.

Do not donate to this campaign. Please, instead spend your money on those that are clearly vetted. All the campaigns in my pinned are vetted, and there are tons more on https://gazafunds.com/.

This is not related to the main subject, but I have also had it pointed out to me that I have shared another scam on my blog. Although I cannot find the post they're referring to, I will still share the information given.

They notably do not mention who they are "vetted" by in their pinned post, and will block anyone who asks.

This is obviously extremely suspicious behavior and they should not be trusted.

Thank you to everyone who pointed these things out to me, and everyone else, please stay alert. I know from experience that it is very easy to get lost in the shuffle, but we must stay vigilant. It's important to keep as many eyes on legitimate fundraisers as possible and to keep funds as far as humanly possible from these fucking monsters.

It's integral that even in the face of shit like this that we keep supporting real campaigns. There really are people out there who need help, and it is up to all of us to do what we can.

I have witnessed countless difficult and painful scenes while escaping death multiple times. In northern Gaza, life is reduced to a cycle of fleeing from danger and searching for food amidst the rubble of destroyed homes.

My dream is to travel abroad with my mother and sister to continue my education and develop my practical skills. For the past eight months, I have been unemployed, focusing on self-improvement and hoping for a better future.
