Had I not immediately spied Nesta curled in an armchair, a book on her knees, looking - for once - very un-Nesta-like. Casual. Perhaps relaxed.

Perfectly content to be alone.

Yes, exactly. So leave her alone. The IC practically lock Nesta up in the HoW after she suffers a traumatic experience, and they tell her to let them know if she needs anyone or anything. She doesn't. Not once does she ask to see anyone, not once does she ask for anything. But yet they keep bothering her, every other day, and then they wonder why she lashes out. These people need to learn what personal space is and abide by it.

Day 6: Passions 🍪

I can absolutely see Elain sharing her love of baking and cooking with Nyx as he grows: letting him add ingredients to her mixes, practice rolling out dough, or making the perfect cookie shape. Baking played a role in Elain’s healing journey and I can imagine that sharing it with those closest to her would be so special.

I know that anytime I commission Oli, I can trust wholeheartedly that the end result is going to be exceptional! This piece will always be near and dear to me and I am so so grateful to @oli_diart for making it happen!

Also, a special thanks to my sweet friend @tswaney17 for allowing me to use one of her commissions as a reference for Elain’s apron!
