Eris paled slightly. "Don't you mean if he finds out?"

Cassian said nothing. Kept his face neutral. Nesta stifled her smugness and did the same.

Eris observed them. For the first time since Nesta had known the male, uncertainty banked the fire in his gaze.

And then he turned toward the other subject in his letter, facing Nesta before he asked, "And my offer for you?" Not one ounce of affection or longing laced his words.

The Night Court is insufferable I swear. Nesta got a harsh reality check in hofas that she truly wasn’t one of them. Cause if it was anyone else giving that Mask over, they would’ve been celebrated.

As her mate, Cassian is meant to be Nesta's home, but in HOFAS she just seemed so lost. Like her home had become a place to cage her up and hurt her. Ember seemed more of her home than Cassian did.

sirius doesn’t have many friends because he’s emotionally unavailable, intimidating closed off, arrogant, has an air of superiority, is bored with most people and doesn’t care for the attention he gets from other people and that is why he has few friends not because he’s annoying and obnoxious and not because he couldn’t have more friends than the marauders because he’s most definitely charming and charismatic enough to make heads turn and to make people want his attention

ok but i’m just thinking about eris and his brothers because what do you mean he’s the oldest of seven??? he watched each of them go from children to adults. saw each of them as sweet and curious and kind little boys, only to become as cruel and calculated and awful as he is? as beron is??? they’re all competing for autumn’s throne, they can’t trust each other, are encouraged to kill one another, and eris remembers them all as babies.
