Welp...it's time.

After working on this AU for 2 years, I'm happy to announce my upcoming Rewrite AU for My Hero Academia.

My Hero Academia: Rewritten Sparks

Mild Spoilers Ahead

It follows the story of Izuku as he finds himself reliving his life all over again after dying at the hands of All for One. But he notices that things are different than before. From Bakugou being friendly with him to his homeroom teacher suddenly having an eccentric personality.

And it's all thanks to this mysterious entity that revived him. But that's not the only thing that's changed. Izuku suddenly has his own quirk. Sort of.

The mysterious entity knew that Izuku couldn’t face All for One again without an ace up his sleeve, so it decided to give him one.

In the form of a Zhao. A quirk that manifests in 5% of the Earth’s population and is based on the interests, dreams, aspirations, etc. of its user. The mysterious entity created Zhaos using the Illuminating Spark, an ancient relic known to shape worlds like Izuku’s in different ways.

Unfortunately for the entity, the Illuminating Spark seemed to have disappeared in Izuku’s new world, resulting in an unstable power balance.

With the help of a team of new yet familiar faces, Izuku must find the Illuminating Spark and stop All for One from finding it.

Quirk Explanation: Voice allows Sunny to manipulate the volume, pitch, bass, and frequency of her voice. She uses her quirk to help calm kids down with soothing melodies or to incapacitate villains with painful wails.

Zhao: Cockatiel

Zhao Explanation: Cockatiel gives Sunny the physical attributes and instincts of a cockatiel. She can summon her wings at will and fly in the air. Whenever she uses her Zhao, the tips of her hair gain a gray and white ombre at the tips.

Personality: Sunny is nothing like her past self. While she's just as bright and outgoing as Mic, Sunny's mostly shy and introverted. She mainly keeps to herself unless she needs to say something important. Sunny is great with kids and is happy to help a child in need. She's also overprotective when it comes to a kid's safety, to the point where she goes feral on anyone who abuses a child.

Backstory: Sunny is well known in Japan under her hero title. From singing songs with her band to saving innocent children from villain attacks. It's no wonder why she's almost as popular as One Almighty Star. But underneath that bubbly persona, Sunny is a nervous wreck of a man. She isn't great at speaking her mind and gets flustered easily. She's the only one in the group that doesn't remember her past life's memories. She only gains memories after events happen in front of her. She does remember the previous timeline and being Present Mic, but specific details are a blur. As she teams up with Izuku and Co., Sunny tries to look more into her past, which unveils a dark conspiracy behind Mic's death.

Help Find A Fic!

I've been trying to find this AO3 story that I read a while back.

It was a Present Mic centric fic where after taking a physical exam, he finds out that his moms not only lied about him being part Japanese, but they lied about his background.

While trying to find his biological father, Mic finds himself being chased down by all sorts of enemies who want him dead.

I'm not going to say anymore because I don't want to spoil too much for those who haven't read it yet. But if you know what fic I'm talking about, leave a comment.

MHA x 'Splosion Man Crossover AU

A Nomu!Mic AU with a twist.

Kayaku, also known as The 'Sploding Hero: DJ 'Splosion, isn't your typical Pro Hero.

He was a specialized nomu designed to be a living explosive for the League of Villians, hence his name. However, Dr. Garaki made a slight miscalculation when designing Kayaku. Unlike his other nomu creations, Kayaku was more independent and aware of what was going on.

As much as he could be, at least.

But the experiment and the instability of his new quirk left his mind worse for wear, as Kayaku hardly remembers anything before he was kidnapped.

He does know that he was friends with Kurogiri though, and broke him out of the facility.

Which leads us here.

Kayaku/DJ 'Splosion

Hehehehe! 'Splode!

Modified Quirk: Combustible

Base Quirk: Voice

Smells like coal and amber

Was experimented on for years before he escaped.

He is a bit of a Cloud Cuckoolander because of the experimentation he went through and his unstable new quirk.

Despite his unstable mind, Kayaku is smarter than his looks.

Wired with an instinct to create chaos wherever he goes.

Unlike his canon counterpart, Kayaku doesn't hold back and will create problems on purpose.

He got his hero name from Kuroboro, who said that Kayaku reminded him of this video game character he liked.

Speaks in gibberish most of the time. Kuroboro often has to translate for him.

Has a weird obsession with cake and meat. Shouta has to hide any cakes he has outside of his and Kayaku's apartment.

Kayaku also tends to eat any power sources, such as batteries and uranium. He says it tastes like citrus candy.

Doesn't mix well with water. Luckily, his quirk allows him to self-clean by disintegrating any dirt or bacteria, so he doesn't need to bathe.

His hero costume allows him to release any excess energy into the leather. Each part of his hero costume has a different element infused into the leather, causing it to release a different color glow as a result.

If his hero costume is glowing brightly, that's your only warning that he's going to explode.

Despite how many times he has exploded, Kayaku is surprisingly still alive.

Kayaku tries to remember his past, but he never was successful.

He can't even remember his own name.

Why can't he remember?

It started with an 'H', right?

Why couldn't he remember?

Why why why why why why why why why why why why why-?

What was he thinking about? Oh yeah! Cake!

Aizawa Shouta/Eraserhead

As if you weren't loud enough before.

He was the one who found both Kayaku and Kuroboro after they escaped from the facility they were held captive in.

Shouta helped Kayaku get well-adjusted and even let him stay at his apartment.

Over time, Shouta realized that he still had feelings for Kayaku despite the fact that he was no longer Hizashi.

He's honestly hesitant to call Kayaku by his old name, worried that it might trigger some bad memories.

Shouta often has to use his quirk on Kayaku so he doesn't cause problems.

Shouta once came home to find Kayaku stuffing a whole 3-tier cake in his mouth. He barely slept that night.

He likes to cuddle up with Kayaku sometimes when he's cold.

Shouta feels guilty for how Kayaku ended up like this.

Why?

The last time he saw Hizashi Kayaku was during their high school graduation.

And he had used his quirk to silence Hizashi Kayaku before leaving him alone.

Shiragiri Kuroboro/Thunder Cloud

Cool! You're like a video game character!

Kuroboro is high school best friends with Kayaku and Shouta.

Kuroboro isn't a full nomu like Kayaku due to the latter interrupting the nomufication process.

He kept most of his memories but is still a bit fuzzy here and there.

He's the only one who can understand Kayaku's gibberish due to being part nomu.

Kuroboro often feels conflicted about his identity, hence why he combined his human name and nomu name.

He tried to get Kayaku to remember his past, but it didn't end well as Kayaku became distressed...and exploded.

The first time Kayaku exploded, Kuroboro thought he was dead.

He took care of Kayaku while they were still on the streets.

Kuroboro was relieved when he finally found Shouta and begged for his help.

After getting reinstated as a hero, Kuroboro became UA's gym teacher and biology teacher.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

The Judge: Mr. Wright? What's the matter?

Phoenix: *snarling with his teeth bared*

The Judge: This is very unlike Mr. Wright at all. Why is he growling at his client?

Godot: Don’t know. But it's actually kind of funny.

Phoenix: *in his head* Dahlia, I know you can hear me. If you don't leave my little sister alone, there will be consequences.

Dahlia: *in her head* How did he know!? O_O

Phoenix: I can smell your rotten soul from a mile away.

Daliha: Did...did he just-!?

Phoenix: Yes. I did read your mind. That's the advantage of having a magatama with me.

Dahlia: O_O

I bet when Dahlia came in to testify pretending to be Iris, Werewolf!Phoenix's hackles instantly raised, and he was barking and growling like crazy. Everyone in the courtroom was confused since Phoenix was usually a sweet guy.

So there’s a lot more to this AU than just Present Mic, or in this case Sunny Day, having a J-Pop Idol Singer style over a Punk Rock DJ Style.

Sunny Day is from a My Hero Academia AU that I’ve been working on called Illuminate.

Time to explain this AU’s plot for the umpteenth time.

In this version of MHA, 5% of the world’s population experiences the Illuminate Phenomenon.

Anyone who experiences this rare phenomenon will gain a quirk based off of their personality, goals, interests, etc. Think of the cutie marks from MLP only more random and not everyone has one.

It still focuses on Izuku, but this time he has an Illumi Quirk, which is a quirk that was gained from the Illuminate Phenomenon, called Quirk Database. After he and his friend, Katsuki, entered UA together, they start to experience some weird dreams.

Meanwhile, All for One is turning Illumi Quirk users into corrupted villains, similar to Hawk Moth’s akumatizing powers, and sending them after UA.

So yeah. In this AU, Sunny still has her original quirk, Voice, along with an Illumi Quirk called Cockatiel.

So...I was giving permission from @cheshiresartblog to write this story idea based off of their Nomu Trio AU. It’s an idea that I got after listening to The Princess and the Frog soundtrack for hours on end.

I really, really shouldn’t be doing this because I have other AU stories in mind (one of them being a huge crossover), but since this is based off of two things that I’ve watched (in BNHA’s case watched and read) I think it’ll be easier to write. So here’s the basic plot.

WARNING: Spoilers for BNHA and The Princess and the Frog ahead! Will also contain mentioning of depression, suicide, and disturbing themes.

Shouta, Hizashi, and Oboro have been dating each other since high school and dream of opening a hero agency using an old abandoned building.

Years pass by, and something happens to Oboro and Hizashi, causing them to ‘die’ in battle. Shouta went into a spiral of depression and hardly interacts with his family and friends. Nemuri decides to help Shouta reconnect with society by taking him to a party. But at said party, Shouta hears some devastating news.

The building where he and his late boyfriends were planning to set up their hero agency was going to be bought by some land developers.

Shouta ran back home as grieves over not only the loss of his boyfriends, but the loss of the one dream that they shared. While on his way home, he doesn’t pay attention and gets hit by a car.

As he’s rushed to the hospital, the doctor who works for AfO tells Shouta’s family that he had ‘died’ due to committing suicide, and proceeds to take him to AfO to be turned into a Nomu.

More years past and Kakureru works for the League of Villains, but he feels like he’s missing something and tries to remember his past. Suddenly, he remembers that the doctor that supposedly saved his life was the one who killed him in the first place.

He was the one who was driving the car that killed him.

After convincing the flirty Raiu and the music-loving Kurogiri to leave the LoV with him, they start to connect with each other. Shigaraki, Toga, and Dabi tagged along because they had nothing better to do.

Then the three Nomu start to remember who they were, which causes them to question themselves.

Now they must choose to follow their new dreams or going back to their old lives.

Recovery Girl: DON’T YOU DARE!!! I JUST HAD THESE FLOORS CLEANED!!!

Mic: *throws up All Might**

Aizawa: Hello there, All Might.

All Might: *lays there in shock* ...

Mic: Uh, hello? Earth to All Mi-

All Might: I’m just gonna...lay here for a minute.

Aizawa: ...

Mic: ...

Recovery Girl: ...

Mic: That’s fair.

Recovery Girl: At least lay in a bed...

AU where Mic has a curse like Eda, but he turns into a cockatiel beast instead of an owl one. Everyone in the school sans Midnight, Aizawa, and Vlad King believe that Aizawa is the beast at first because who would think that the outgoing and friendly Mr. Mic would be a huge monster. All Might plays the role as the Snaggleback, and gets traumatized after Mic spits him out.

I’ve been working on this story for awhile, but school has slowed down the production. But I’m finally happy to say that my Fullmetal Alchemist Big Bang story is on this way on November 22nd.

This story is actually the first one of many for my fanfiction series, Welcome to the Mystic Realm School for Magicals and Non-Magicals.

The first story will mainly focus on the Fullmetal Alchemist part of the story for the sake of the FMABB, but I’ll post the other stories soon.

I Swear That I’m A Good Kid: Tales of An Adventurous Prince

Edward Elric isn’t the best when it comes to staying out of trouble. From causing mayhem in Potion Brewery to nearly traumatizing the Theatre teacher with an audition in last year’s school play, he can’t seem to stay away from trouble. But underneath all that troublesome exterior, Edward just wants someone to understand him. But it’s pretty much hard when some people fear him for his royal status and when he’s a half demon-half angel hybrid. Things take a turn for the worst, however, when Edward accidentally releases an evil alchemist, Dante, from her eternal prison. Armed with an ancient sword of a long forgotten hero and his alchemy skills, Edward sets off on a journey to stop Dante from destroying everything that he knows and loves. Because deep down, he swears that he’s a good kid.
