“You love me?” She grinned, shaking her head. “Knew you were my best friend.” It was somewhat a joke, they’d known each other so long and had been living together for awhile now so the feeling was definitely mutual.

Kara held onto his hand as it snaked around her waist, her eyes focusing on the screen in front of them as he spoke. “I know, I know…just wish you were still there instead.” She whispered, her voice faltering a bit. “No he didn’t make me uncomfortable. Soft praises could be heard falling from his lips and she’d thought she was stealthy enough that he hadn’t noticed but that was clearly not the case as she had been caught.
