So let me get this straight....

You telling me that that Nathalie just gave herself to hawkmoth like dat? I mean, I'm disappointed, but not shook in anyway. I'm just shook that we finally got to see what cataclysm does on a person but it was done on Adrien. Talk about losing it for a second there. Also Plagg can do that?? He's freaking amazing

I never thought I’d say this but Azula x Aang is a pair I never thought I’d ship until I found your blog. The way you present it is just so tempting to see the potential in them. I’m intrigued now and want to read a fanfic of them. Can you link some recs?

i’d love to! caveat: my tastes are peculiar, as with all my my atla ships, so this list is pretty subjective.

the island by themoonfish summary: After several years of being hidden away in an asylum, Azula is offered a choice: marry the Avatar or die forgotten within the walls of the institution. When Zuko chooses for her, Azula will have to learn to live with the hand she’s been dealt.

(absolute hands down my favorite fic rn! it’s a wip, arranged marriage fic set several years after the series finale, with a devastating perspective on azula’s time at the asylum, and a wonderful rendition of adult!aang who’s both mature and playful. the azula pov is absolutely heart wrenching, and i can’t wait to see how the relationship develops! i cannot emphasize enough how well this fic caters specifically to my tastes. ugh, so good! )

rehabilitation by breeeliss summary: Azula knew how to be nothing else but cruel, tactful, and emotionless. There was no other option. But, as per his track record, the Avatar always had a way of ruining her plans. Aangzula.

(sweet and fluffy and still in character. another great take on grown up aang and azula. they’re both nerds together, and very Soft without being OOC)

non sum qualis eram by quist summary: He was the Avatar, and married to boot. If they were discovered, her reputation would be in tatters.Years after the war, Azula discovers that some fires cannot be easily quenched, even by the most gifted of firebenders.

(this just started posting, and aang is already married to katara so...whatever happens with him and azula is gonna be scandalous! but it’s a great take on both characters so far, with aang being just a liiiiiitle bit of a playful fuckboy lmao but still in character.)

the fallen princess by war_of_stars summary: She walked slowly up the aisle with vengeance in her eyes, the knife carefully hidden in the folds of her lace sleeves. It would be her final act. Victory snatched from the jaws of defeat. The Avatar would be dead before the dawn.

(another arranged marriage fic! there’s a knife fight in the bridal chamber, zuko and katara are together, aang is an adorable cinnamon roll and azula can’t firebend but doesn’t know why)

the avatar and the fire princess by loopy summary: In an AU born of betrayal, Aang makes the only deal he can to free himself from the prisons of the Fire Nation. But a political marriage to the Princess Azula turns out to be nothing like either one is expecting...

(canon divergent after “The Blue Spirit” and absolutely devastating, but great worldbuilding and political intrigue. aang and azula bond over trying to survive firelord zuko’s court - their relationship is sweet and touching and complicated. aang takes azula flying! be warned though: major character death and dark themes.)

Theory Time!

Okay okay, before you say anything, this may be a bit crazy. BUT I couldn’t help but think of it when I was trying to figure out Mayura’s identity. Some think Mayura is Emilie because, well, she looks an awful lot like her.

Theory Time!
Theory Time!

Same up-turned eyes, same dainty nose, same mouth, same body type
and let’s not forget the fact that Mayura is the supposed “boss” of Hawk Moth, and what other woman would have power over him than his own wife? But the problem is, Emilie seems to be in a coma at the moment, or
worse. So how could Mayura be Emilie? Maybe, just maybe, Ladybug and Chat Noir do something to wake her up, or she awakens on her own somehow to become Mayura. Or What if Nathalie is in fact Mayura, and for her transformation she wanted to look a lot like the man she love’s wife in hopes to win him over. She appears to love a man whose heart is with someone else. What better way to get his attention than having the appearance of her and try to prove that she’s better?

the fact that apple took an entire product market and changed not just the product, but the market, to fit to their desire
like, electronic products are supposed to last, they are made to last for extended periods of time, that’s the point. but then apple came along, and they suddenly realized they could change the whole game, because they got ahead on the smartphone trend and every other company was looking to them to decide what to do. so apple created “generations”. usually, if your product isn’t broken, you don’t need a new one. you don’t need to reenter the market. but they found a way to convince people, “oh, but just because you don’t need a new one, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get a new one. look, this new one is way cooler than the old one!” they turned a smartphone into a fashion piece, something that you should only have if it’s “in-season”. and people fall for it, hook-line-and-sinker, obediantly waiting in lines the week of the new iphone release while they have what should be a perfectly good phone sitting in their pocket, which is promptly going to be either sold third party for pocket change compared to the original price, or thrown straight into a landfill. perfectly fine, working parts, rare and valuable things, thrown straight away. but then, then, apple realized they could go further with it. because not everyone was doing that, and in fact many people either couldn’t or didn’t want to get replacements for their perfectly-good products, and that is how they became the forefront of planned obsolesence. if they had their hardware components abruptly stop working, people would become upset and outraged, and would demand investigation. so they turned to software. they said, “every once in a while, your device will need to update. these updates are good, because they will bring you new and improved features!”- but that was only half-true. if your phone was new, yes, this would happen, but if it was older, the update would slightly degrade it, so much so that you wouldn’t notice it. but then after only a couple of years, you would notice it- your phone slowing down, lagging randomly, maybe a few weird glitches here and there, not enough to brick your phone but enough to make its original sleekness seem distant. and you would be frustrated, and you would wonder why this was happening, and apple would reach down and say, “why, that is because your phone is getting old. you need the next generation!” so then even those resistant to change would be forced to get a new phone every couple of generations, and anyone who didn’t was fully seen as an outcast or an idiot. and apple realized how well this work, and they extended it in full to tablets and computers, and other companies took note, and they began to very slowly do the same. and now, instead of electronics being the old, ugly tv your grandparents have that still works, or the vintage computer in your dad’s attic that has a graphical hole in the corner but still works, or your aunt’s old record player that has gather decades’ worth of grime and dust but still works, electronics is your friend’s beautiful, clean iphone from two and a half years ago that has the capacity to do a thousand things, but it won’t turn on because the charger port is fried, and when you ask them why, they go, “oh, it’s out of season.”
