Anmaje - 🎶Watson On Bicycle🎶
✨📝🚂🕰️
✨ - Favorite one-off character? It's gotta be PJ in Redheaded League, what a lovely lad! All the characters in REDH were just amazing!
📝 - Favorite change from original canon to s&c? Ooo! It's gotta be the plot of Solitary Cyclist! It was absolutely delicious and I felt dread in my stomach when I realised where it was headed. Woodley is just a plain douche in the canon, but making him a trusted fiancé fuckin' wrecked me.
🚂 - How do you like to listen to s&c/what do you do while listening to s&c? When I binge-listened to catch up I was mainly commuting by bicycle(Dane moment), but now I have a lovely routine Tuesday morning: I listen as I eat my breakfast. It's great company! (pun very much intended)
🕰️ - When did you first start listening to s&c? It was early this year I believe. Gloria Scott part 2 had just released, so the middle of February 2024.
This is such a fun little ask game! Thank u for the emojis <3

Okay but the way Sherlock kept reassuring Mariana that she doesn't need to do anything she's not comfortable with?? That he would do it instead so she wouldn't have to?? Like? EXCUSE ME SIRRR?? 😭
I hear the talk about Mariana and John this, Mariana and John that - but let's talk about Sherlock and Mariana!!
This case had Sherlock encouraging Mariana to speak up and NO don't say you shouldn't talk when you got smt to say to the team! Your input is just as valuable and needs to be heard!! You're a part of this team and this is a team effort!
And when they were about to find the bodies, the way he talked her through an extremely traumatic situation? 😭 That shit got me fr like yes what you're thinking is horrible but whether you like it or not it is true and we cannot change this to suit the reality we want, we can only accept it and continue from there - and he was kind!! He didn't look down on her or mock her for wanting to not believe what was true, because it was traumatic and something she wasn't accustomed to.
HOWEVER what I really loved was that she didn't need to do smt she didn't want!! Im so glad it didn't take the 'but you have to do this' bullshit route that many stories do because it's okay not to, it's okay to know your limits and stay in it, it's okay to not want to do something you don't want to!! There's nothing you have to prove because you shouldn't have to!!
This podcast mannn.

Following in John’s footsteps and making a “Netflix crime investigation board” for the latest episode!
I got a question answered! Whoo!
Sherlock & Co QnA with Joel Emery
GUYS THIS WAS AN AMAZING EVENT!
We learned so much stuff: behind the scenes process, how they approach adapting the stories, where they're going (no spoilers), and what they hope for the future.
Also, I got a question answered at about the halfway mark.
Go take a listen! It's really great!
(I'll work on getting a transcription for the event too!)
This is so cool! My asks are very much open
Felt inspired by the cool fan projects & interaction going on in the s&c fandom, so I figured an ask game was in order.
Feel free to send me one of these emojis & I'll respond to the question matched up with it. I encourage you to reblog and do the same :)

Ehh, I prefer the slash honestly, always have. It's easier to understands ships with a slash anyways, no puzzling needed. I also feel like that's how it's tagged on here at least? Idk tho, do as you please!
The struggle of not knowing how to tag "Holmes/Watson" content if it's not specifically the BBC version of the ship.
Like, yeah, the ship name in general is Johnlock. I guess. But also most people don't call them by their first names if they do not talk about the modern adaptations. So calling those "Johnlock" feels kinda weird (?)
But there isn't really a popular ship name made from their surnames. I have seen Watsolmes, which I think is a good ship name, but people barely use it.
So I just end up using "[adaptation] Johnlock", "Johnlock" and "Watson/Holmes" ┐( ̄ヘ ̄)┌
How do we feel about Watsolmes, guys???
