For Several Episodes I Felt Confused As To Why Mihawk Didn't Take Luffy With Him When He Was Practically
For several episodes I felt confused as to why Mihawk didn't take Luffy with him when he was practically in his hands after Zoro's defeat.

Until in the last episode it dawned on me that letting Luffy go was a gift for Shank.

And look! That gift got Mihawk a drink!

And, who knows, maybe not only a drink, if Mihawk tells Shank everything and admits he actually spared Luffy?. .☺

Is it just me or
"Who the hell is Shanks?"

sounds an awful lot like
"Who the fuck is Tommy?"

Guys, I think we were robbed of a fascinating flight scene where Ghost for the first time realized just what an attractive joke cracking dork he got stuck with

Guys, do you remember Berta? The girl who kinda posed as Bert's "love interest"?
Well, as a sucker for details I am I just can't help comparing Bert&Berta's "Love song" with Bert&Ernie's "But I like you".
In "Love song" Bert sings about how much in common they have with Berta. Namely, pigeons, music, oatmeal, paper clips, and checkers.

It literally ends like this:
You play checkers.
I do, too.
You like me.
And I like you.
So, basically, the love confession is based on common interests.
What's funny is that Bert&Ernie's song goes completely opposite direction.
After Bert mentions liking paper clips, buttlecaps, and pigeons Ernie answers:
I don't really like any of those things,
But I like you.

And then Bert reacts in the same way to Ernie's interests.
Ain't it peculiar?
Having different interests with Ernie doesn't make them drift apart, so having common interests with Berta doesn't necessarily mean they are gonna be together, right?
Besides, it's worth mentioning that in "But I like you" song Bert and Ernie take their turns to sing "I like you" to each other, whereas in "Love song" it's Bert who sings "You like me and I like you". Berta doesn't say anything at all, only Bert sings!
Which makes me question if perhaps Bert's feelings for Berta were meant to be unrequited from the start??
I am getting sick of the idea of Lieutenant Straight-As-A-Stick Riley getting seduced by Soap.
Like, come on!
Ghost started calling Soap "Johnny".
Ghost got worried sick over Soap escaping the Shadows right after the Graves' betrayal instead of thinking only about his own way out.
Ghost cracked the most fucked up jokes to get Soap distracted from the wound and keep him alive.
All Soap had to do was (not so subtly) flirt back.
The more I'm thinking about this the more it feels like it was Ghost who chose Soap first, not the other way round.
