“Boo!” you yelled at the television, throwing popcorn across the living room from your place on the large expansive white leather couch.

“Whoa, what’s going on here mama?” came Sam’s voice from the entryway near the kitchen. He took in the sight of you before him – wrapped in a large blanket, your signature grey sweats visible from where your feet poked out beside you, propped on the arm of the couch. You leaned on a pile of pillows to your right where a giant bowl of popcorn sat in front of you. Your hair was thrown up in a messy pile on your head and if it wasn’t for the perfectly done full face of makeup, one would have thought you had just rolled out of bed.

“Men suck and these movies are lies!” you yelled again, throwing another fist full of popcorn towards the flat screen where Dermot Mulroney was currently giving furtive glances towards Debra Messing’s character.

“So, I take it the date didn’t go well…” Natasha commented, walking into the living room with Wanda.

“He’d have to show up for it to even go badly,” you mumbled before jamming a fist full of popcorn into your mouth, smearing a bit of red lipstick on your chin.

Bucky left you standing by the door as he walked further into the bedroom, “Want you to do something for me.” Looking at how serious he was, your laughter trailed off from the joke he told moments before in the hallway.

“Do you trust me? Cause I plan on collecting the favor you owe me.”

Bucky’s confidence seemed to take up even more of the bedroom as you stared from the doorway. His sudden change in attitude made you tiptoe into your question, “What’s the favor?”

With a greedy half-smile he said, “Wanna to play with the knife, darlin.”

You cleared your throat trying to hide the tiny thrill running through you. This was your opportunity to finally ask him, “Will you wear the mask?” 

Arms crossed his chest, he wasn’t about to answer your question so easily, “You addin’ a favor on top of the one I’m collecting from you?”

Maybe this wasn’t the ideal opportunity to ask like you thought. Bucky didn’t give any indication of answering your request, he waited for your next move. He had you and your hopeful curiosity right where he wanted. He thought you were such delectable prey; wringing your hands, biting your lip as you tried to convince him and yourself that you’re ready for this.

I’ve tried to create a more gentle dark Steve, but we’ll see how things go.

Steve couldn’t believe his eyes. There was no chance that was he was seeing was true, how could it be? You were dead, gone from his bed, from his life. He had killed for you, mourned for you, buried an empty casket in your honour. It had been three long years without you but he could remember the distinct way his heart began to race in your presence, a feeling like no other washing over him as if he was in the presence of the most precious creature in the world. It was unmistakable.

   His tongue was Valhalla.  You peeled off his top, breaking the kiss.  He licked his lips as he looked down at you.   You grabbed at his shoulders, wanting him back on top of you.  

“Are you ready for your birthday gift?”  Loki’s eyes got that evil gleam.  

“This wasn’t it?”  You looked at the diamond bracelet.  Not to mention the lingerie, countless flowers, perfume, chocolates, and fantastic dinner.  

“No.”  He slinked down, making you whine.  “This is special.  All for you Love.”  

You sat up on the giant bed.  Your green neglige dropping off your shoulder.   Loki took your hand, the two of you both on your knees.  His hands found your waist and he pulled you close, resuming the kiss.

Part of you wanted to dive back into it, but your mind raced with what he had in mind.

“Relax.” He pressed his forehead to yours.  “This is all about you.”  

The kissing resumed.  You tried to listen to him, you trusted him, one of the few people in the nine realms who did.  You hoped that wouldn’t prove faulty.  

His hands went to the silk of your nightie and he pushed the other strap down, guiding the garment down to your legs.   You shifted your knees and climbed out of the thing, naked for him.  

Your hands went to his pants, wanting to feel his marble like skin on your own.  

Lips touched your neck and you gasped.  Pushing away from Loki.  You pressed your head to his chest, for protection as you turned.  

“I’m sorry my lady.”  The guest shifted on the bed.  “I did not mean to frighten you.  Quite the opposite in fact.”

“NO!”  You turned and looked at Loki, unable to control your features.  “Is he real?”
