Kremy Lecroux, a lizardfolk who could easily survive a situation such as this (under normal circumstances), instead of relying on natural instincts, immediately puts the trust of his own life into Gideon’s hands. His first instinct when in danger in the first place is to seek for Gideon, fully believing he could be protected by him.

Gideon Coal, a fire genasi with water being one of his greatest weakpoints, instead of figuring out some sorta compromise and focus on getting out first, reaches for Kremy. He is his first priority, self-preservation be damned.
