The results are in!!!! And the lie is....

OPTION 2: He is legally dead.

Michael is NOT dead, but he IS a raccoon, and he has, in fact, taken lives. Several. As a witch from the Tachimori (name TBD) bloodline, Meg has the ability to communicate with animals. This is how she was able to befriend Michael despite him being a raccoon. As a wild animal, Michael as zero (0) compunctions taking any form of life for any reason.

Thanks @anoelleart for the tag! I've been traveling but now that I've got a sorta slow day, I'm gonna try my hand at some of these tags lol.

The words I got: stand, mist, insist, and court.

I don't have a story that covers all of these words, so I'll just use whatever I can find lol.

Stand:

Standing in the forest, hands slick with quickly cooling blood, I can’t help but laugh.

Mist:

The predawn mist- once a dewy chill against her skin- turned glacial, gnawing at her fingertips and scraping the curve of her spine.

Insist:

“I still humor your whiny ass, so be quiet. You’re the one that can’t watch movies alone.” She followed him down the stairs and out the viewing room.

“I can too! It’s just better with company!” He insisted, the same way he had countless times before. They continued bickering as Aven drove them to the café. They waved at the elf at the counter, snatching their usual seats as they waited for their food. “So anyway, who died today?” Aven asked.

Court:

I don't have one for this!! 😭 Well, I technically do, but I may or may not have submitted it to a ✨writing competition✨. But part of the rules is that I can't post it at least until it's over, so. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
