AU where Will Solace is a doctor who studies exotic medical treatments and Nico is the cursed forest's guardian.

Will researched forbidden medical studies and healing, which are: poisoned, cursed, dangerous, toxic, deathly, etc.

Unfortunately, Octavian caught him, the king of Sun, who hated Will for absolutely no reason. And punished him from his homeland, into the deep dark forest, to rot for eternity.

As a doctor who studies cursed-death things his full whole life, Will manages to survive and found an old cottage to live deep inside of the forest. Whenever Octavian kick someone out, there's Will hospitality comes in.

But, he also met weird people that occasionally stumbled into their grave if it wasn't for Will.

Once he treated a dislocated swordman who can erupt an entire ocean onto a continent, the other day is a drugged-hypnotized princess who is specialized in the art of war, and the other other day is a couple who cheated death twice and running away as most wanted criminals in kingdoms, one can summon jewelries and melt sliver, one has the power so great he can destroy a kingdom if he wasn't too kind. Will made a lot of friends and great companions, he can simply fly a messenger pigeon and the next thing he knows, his front yard is full of blue food, books, medical supplies, rare treasures and dead monsters.

Until one day, the guardian of the cursed forest reveals himself, knocking Will's cottage door, politely asked him if he could stop making people feel welcome here and get out of this forest. Will too, politely declined. And offered him a blue apple pie.

Will, trying to heal him: No. You’re going to survive this.

Nico: Will, listen to me

Nico: You know those occasional crooked french fries? Well, I’m one of them

The campers scared because Nico has the aura of death and is the son of Hades, etc. Then this mf Will just scared for the dumbest things, like he legit screams when Nico got a cut and licked it or when Nico casually explains how to make an Italian pizza with utmost details when he's literally dying or the moment when he shallows an entire bag of M&Ms without choking

The thing people don't get is Will has essentially been the sole caretaker of something like 100 people's health since he was 13-15ish, which is literally an unimaginable amount of stress.

Imagine taking care of 10 kids, when you're a kid, with no parental supervision or assistance beyond food/clothes/house bills or other basic physical needs. Not just babysitting either, full time, you are the only person you can rely on and you've got 10 other lives relying on you full time. You have to go to school, keep updated on all of their lives, and try to grow up yourself.

Now try to imagine what he dealt with, because if he failed people died- people he loved and cared for, who he was related to and friends with. Sometimes he was handed them already half dead and even when he did everything he knew how to do he was just a kid, it's like being hungry and not being able to reach the cupboard where the food is. There is no adult who can help you.

Solangelo soulmate(?) au or headcanon (?)

I have this weird idea of an au(?) where will and nico cant see each other when they met the first time, like yeah theyre there, the apollo boy and the curious energetic new kid in camp half-blood. and somehow they knew, will knew nico and nico knew will. even though they dont talk, dont get to meet and greet, dont know the others face, dont accidently stumble into each others world.

at the moment, will and nico dont exist to one another.

its like if the two of them want to at least know that person's name, they have to pass certain lvs, have to unlock a path, unlock the relationship, unlock their feelings.

imagine percy mention a guy called will solace who saved annabeth and just how awesome he is, thinking if he could offer will a snack or hanging out sometimes and nico, being confused, cant catch that person's name, just 'sorry il nas what? did i hear that right? eh, he sound like a kit kat loving lads, so theres that, but the hanging out part? absolutely no, i somehow have a feeling hes not gonna feel comfortable around u'.

same thing happened to will, where a friend just pull him away from smth to smite abt that scary and creepy son of hades who summon skeletons that can kill millions, thinking will would agree with them but no, he just genuinely offended for no reason, like very angry as if he was the one that get insulted, he becomes weirdly protective for a person he doesnt even know the name, 'hes not scary and creepy, Joe, hes a very nice guy who would probably do everything for his family and friends, he also saved all of our asses in the battle, that i think u may or may not forgot. if u cant simply be grateful for what he did, stfu or ill stab this needle right where your iries are and donate all of your blood'.

they strangely attach to each other. they know what 'that person' likes, what they hate, how they act, what they good at, when they lie, what their secrets, their reason for that for those, their pain, insecurities, sadness, happiness etc. its like they just borned with it in their minds and hearts, just dont know why who and how. they understood, they felt, they loved. and finally, when they first, actually first met since forever, all of those lvs unlocked, all of those paths they found, all of those efforts for that one person and here they are, in the middle of a war, bickering, known, finally see, finally talk, finally laugh, finally meet will, finally meet nico, finally, for so long.

and everything abt them from then and out, is just meant to be.

Nico is just,,, a genuinely nice person lol. Like he caused these huge life-saving events because he was nice. Bob saved Percy and Annabeth because Nico checked on him, Hazel was resurrected and became a crucial member of the seven because Nico thought she deserved a second chance, he saved Olympus because he convinced Hades and Co to help his friends, he was the only one who talked to Hestia who ended up being the most important Olympian of them all, and he found and befriended the Romans despite how suspicious he must have seemed. Like Nico did all this shit and saved everyone just because he was nice.
