even if camp is “recognizing” minor gods now there still aren’t that many resources for chthonic demigods so the second lou ellen finds out nico is staying at camp she walks up to him with a notebook and goes “tell me everything you know about underworld magic” and boom instant friendship

i have to admit i knew cmbyn way earlier than percy jackson or solangelo in singularly so the book has a huge spot in my heart and i may or may not read a lot of canon-divergence to cope with it but tbh both of them can kinda requited their love so thats nice pls i want them fall in love in italy and kiss and have sexy bonding times and angst with happy ending the book is great but i have many canon-complaints about it too ITS SO COOL THAT YOU'VE WRITTEN ABT IT THO cause ao3 is missing this AU and i have many questions the book is really complicated its true but nico as elio pov is SO GOOD and poetic not if a little horny but still i mean I AM a weak person and I still wanna read your version of it i mean we can have double canon-complaints solangelo not in my place to tell you but if u wonder if you should decide to continue writing it im literally right here and i will happily eat it raw SOB

fan fiction is SO addicting to people with ADHD because our brains aren't innattentive, they're just constantly searching out sources of dopamine because we don't produce enough on our own. fan fiction supplies us with an endless archive of free stories - long and short - containing characters we already love and we can just devour story after story after story one after another and it feels SO GOOD.
