Some of the hardest conversations I've had with my fiancée are the ones I'm most grateful for. I saw everyone in the comments talking about how ‘no one is in the right here, Sun and Moon were too pushy, and Puppet should’ve been more calm.’ but lets be realistic for a second- Sun and Moon had NO way of knowing anything about what happened with puppet and magic and everything. Not to mention, Foxy just immediately defended her actions with no regard for how he or puppet were acting towards Sunshine and Moonlight.

I was hoping so badly that when puppet came to the daycare that moon just like, banned her from talking to sun because he was upset. that would’ve been such a sweet moment to me :’]

I understand it’s a difficult topic but just say you have a bad past with it and are uncomfortable discussing it and they’ll most likely leave it at that. (Moon at least, Sun is a bit more oblivious but i’m sure Moon could explain easily)

ok the harpy hare tiktok trend is actually so cool from a folklore perspective? so, "harpy hare" is yaelokre's original song. it's in a folk style, but that doesn't automatically make it folklore; to become folklore, it has to be adapted into a community, who naturally create variations on the same idea. by making it into a trend, tiktok users have effectively turned it into a piece of folklore. they've added a hand-clapping game to the song, and created variations on the motions. tiktokers are using the internet to not only create folklore, but to syncretize an older form of folklore (hand clapping games) with more modern ones (cosplaying, tiktok trends).

the same can be said for any tiktok trend being folklore. but "harpy hare" is really interesting to me because it was an original song written in a folk style, but was then adapted into folklore by the internet

They talk about having leftist values without considering that leftist values should be based in caring for other humans. This post is the culmination of a general unawareness of queee issues and a lack of critical thinking. It's just disappointing.

The problem I have with the "basic and lukewarm principles of feminism" is that they're, well, basic. In the "basic biology" way of basic, in the way that you're actually supposed to go past them and towards more complex ideas.

You start with an assumption that man/woman is the only type of a social division that matters, and you interpret any statements about men's marginalization through their manhood as a statement about women oppressing men of comparable social status.

Meanwhile it's more often a conversation about how the society and its systems oppress men from marginalized demographics, and how their manhood may intersect with this oppression in a way that harms them additionally.

There's no men and women in a vacuum, everyone has additional features, such as cis, immigrant, disabled, rich, and so on and so forth, and you need to consider them for your analysis of gender to be adequate.

I repeat, nobody on this side of Tumblr is saying that manhood in a vacuum is a marginalized identity. What we're saying instead is that men who are already marginalized may face worsening of that marginalization that's fueled by the society's ideas about men.

It's disorganizing phrases and sentences. Instead of saying "I lost my bag" you end up saying "I bag my lost".

It's saying something out loud and hearing it echo in your head, only to completely forget what you said, or why.

It's lacking words and the ability to organize them in a sentence so that they make sense.

It's thinking you wrote something only to find out you wrote something else.

It's suddenly losing track of what you were telling someone, or thinking.

It's unknowingly misreading words, somehow sensing the sentence doesn't make sense, reading it again and realizing you read half the word or a completely different word.

It's your mind going blank and feeling a need to stay still and stare at nothing in particular.

It's repeating words and phrases for no apparent reason.

It's having an insight or remembering something you want/have to do only to lose it within seconds.

It's not being able to tell if something actually happened or it was a dream.

It's not being able to tell if a memory was a dream, a made up story/memory, or an actual situation in which you were experiencing positive symptoms.

It's losing track of time, feeling it goes too slow or too fast, or that it freezes.
