My son Orhan, who is five and a half years old, has been suffering from malnutrition since the beginning of the war. Due to the lack of adequate health care,

we are exposed to diseases much faster (such as stomach bacteria, skin fungi, and severe infections). Since the beginning of the war, I have been infected with stomach bacteria due to unhealthy eating, and I have not been able to receive treatment due to the high prices of medicines here.

Can't get over the fact that Miguel is actually really good at holding babies.

And Mayday seems to genuinely like being around him.

Like imagine Miguel having a hard night at the Society. Jess and Peter catch him quietly cooing to Mayday and playing with her as she falls asleep.

Quietly teaching her Spanish words.

He TEACHES Peter dad things. Like how to neatly put Maydays hair in a ponytail or rock her to sleep.

I guess sometimes he can't help but fell a bit somber or jealous, watching Peter and her. The feeling never sticks, but it still hurts every time.

Being a hero is nice and all. But all he wants to be it's a dad. He'd give up anything to just be a dad again.
