Gemini And Cancer? For The Zodiac Asks
Gemini and cancer? For the zodiac asks
gemini: how often will your plot change throughout the course of writing?
I usually outline heavily before I write, so the plot doesn’t change drastically, but I do change the timing of some things!
cancer: how do you write emotional scenes? do you ever feel what the characters feel?
Emotional scenes take me a very, very long time to write- it’s 90% staring at the screen and thinking about what happens, thinking about the proper dialogue, what feels right, etc, and 10% jotting it down when I’m happy-ish with it. And yes, I totally feel what the characters are feeling!
thanks so much for the asks!!

for the zodiac asks, could you do capricorn and aquarius since those are our signs? <3
capricorn: what does your writing schedule look like? how often does it take you to write a chapter? I love you to bits Briar, but this is a bad question to ask. To tell the truth, I have none. I’m trying to though, with the April prompts, but they’ve been a panic before midnight so I don’t think it’s working well. And chapters? I used to do them over a couple of days since I posted the first draft, and they were all relatively short. I’m definitely going back and rewriting them because I’d like to think I’ve improved
aquarius: what is the most unique thing about your current wip?
I think the powers that my trio have (not that I can elaborate on that much because it’s still not introduced in my book and I don’t want to spoil anything. But maybe people want to hear about them? Let me know? No pressure) since I made an effort to come up with something I’ve not seen before. And also possibly the fact that I killed off most of Earth’s population in the prologue. Yeahhh
Thank you @ashen-crest !!
Is there a genre you'd like to try writing in, but are afraid to?
Mystery. I am very blatent with most things in my writing, there's no suspense or buildup. I don't read a lot of those books, but the ones that do have an element of mystery are so intriguing.
What's the easiest part of writing for you?
Banter between characters. If they have good chemistry, I can write pages and pages of dialogue with them
I'll tag @pagesofcursive, @writing-is-a-martial-art and @wannabeauthorzofija for these questions
Where do you struggle most in character creation?

What's your favourite thing about your writing?
Writer Questions Tag
Thanks for the tag, @sparkles-and-hens! Here were the questions I got:
What’s a word that you, no matter how many times you write it, cannot spell?
Caribbean. (I spelled it wrong when I typed it here, too- it’s only one r!)
And,
Have you ever completely lost faith in yourself as a writer? How and why?
Hmm. I think it was late high school/early college, as they would have coincided with, you know, my horrible bout of low self-esteem. That probably had something to do with it.
Tagging @ettawritesnstudies and @apocalypsewriters to answer the following questions (if you want!):

What’s the easiest part of writing for you?
would you like to tell everyone aunt jetta’s origin story? it is a wonderful one~
(thank you for helping me find this)
So.... at the beginning of when Briar and I developing all our characters, I decided that Nyx (Briar’s character) had a too sad backstory. I “requested an aunt” so she wouldn’t be so alone. Dawn already existed at this point (albeit unnamed if memory serves me correctly) so Aunt Jetta was attached to her.
