"I h-hate this..." - the human murmured, clinging to their partner's arm as the two of them walked through the forest, stars of the night sky glinting high above them. "W-Why did I let you drag me out h-here...?"

Their lover rolled their glowing eyes, secretly enjoying the half-hug they were in. "So, you'll fuck the literal embodiment of nightmares, but a quick late-night walk will scare you?"

"H-Hey!" - Human whined, lightly slapping the monster's shoulder as their face grew hot in embarrassment.

The monster took this as an opportunity to mess with them more. "Hm? Oh? Are we fighting? Do you not want me here?"

"Wh- Don't you dare-!" - the human wasn't able to finish their sentence as their partner suddenly disappeared in a puff of thick smoke.

The forest became deathly quiet as they froze in place, but they were quick to break the silence.

"MONSTER, GET BACK HERE, OR I'M TAKING AWAY YOUR CUDDLE PRIVILEGES!"

The 'threat' worked like a charm. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!"

Human turned around to see their lover pouting at them. They smirked and crossed their arms. "Yes, I can, actually."

"You're mean..." - the monster whined, poking them in the chest.

"And you almost gave me a heart attack." - the human quipped back, sticking out their tongue for a moment. "Let's go home. Please?"

"...Okay..." - Monster grumbled before a smile of their own crossed their features. "But only if we cuddle when we get back~."

Human sighed fondly. "Sure."
