I always think about the fact that the first time Jack and Ianto realized they were attracted to each other was when Jack fell on Ianto during the pterodactyl hunt. So they fall on the floor and they laugh and have that moment of revelation where they both know that something could happen between them. But then Ianto pulls away because he feels guilty and afraid because he doesn’t understand what those feelings mean. But Jack is not ready to let him go so he calls back Ianto and hires him.

While Ianto is dying they are once again on the floor. It’s different this time because Ianto knows what his feelings towards Jack mean so he says to him that he loves him, because the only thing he’s afraid of now is dying without letting Jack know. Jack doesn’t say it back, not because he doesn’t love Ianto, simply because he’s not ready to let him go.

But Tobey’s Spider-Man opens the door and there’s Mary Jane that welcomes him, their kids running up to him asking where he went, why did he disappear. He smiles. It’s sunny outside and the colors that filers through the window is orange/yellow. It’s pure happiness.

While Andrew’s Spider-Man opens the door and there’s no one there. Just a small little apartment, it’s messy and no one there to welcome him. It’s rainy and the color are dark blue. It’s pure loneliness.
