All My Advice About Using Real Athletes To Learn Drawing Bodies Beyond Hard Abs, And My Particular Pref
all my advice about using real athletes to learn drawing bodies beyond hard abs, and my particular pref being wrestlers, also applies to women btw. you can draw women who r strong and not an hourglass shape. fucking do it.
kris statlander, rhea ripley (look at her SHAPE), willow nightingale, ruby soho, these r just four off the top of my head that have obvious musculature and different body types. skye blue and julia hart have more slim cheerleader style bodies as well, i REALLY wanted to put emi sakura who is fucking STOUT (adoring) in this post but i couldn't find a good demonstrative pic, the list goes on

While taking a nap today I dreamt there was a hazard sign called "never found" which was used to indicate a location where people disappeared never to be seen again
trans people in iowa city need your help — please spread this
Please donate if you are willing to help defray legal fees relating to criminal charges against seven Iowans who were arrested after protesting against hate speech.
The charges include penalties of up to 13 months imprisonment and $3420 in fines, per person.
The seven Iowans who were arrested are all transgender. There were about 100 people who protested that night, many of whom were not trans. No one was cited or arrested at the time of the protest. It was only 4 weeks later that charges were brought. The seven trans protesters--like thousands of others who have marched in the streets of Iowa City in recent years--believed they were safe from the invasion of their rights to freely express themselves against hate.
Donations will support attorney fees and potential fines related to the criminal charges. More information is available at joco6.org
^ i've copy pasted the above from the first link, the bold is my doing.
please donate if u can to support trans people arrested for protesting hate speech!!

Hey, you are not an embarrassment for not knowing how to do certain household chores/basic self-care. They do not come naturally to us. A lot of it takes practice! Maybe you had a neglectful guardian. Maybe you had one that was very coddling and never thought to teach you. Maybe you haven't lived in a place where these things were available to you or needed. Doesn't matter. It's okay to not know and far more common than you might realise.
That said, this website provides very simple instructions on how to do everyday tasks such as making your bed, using a washing machine, cooking different foods, washing dishes, taking a shower, etc. All you have to do is use the search bar to find the task you're struggling with, and it'll come up with what you need + other related how-to's:)
If you're having trouble navigating it, let me provide you with some examples:
How to clean dishes by hand
How to make your bed (with visual demonstrations of each step!)
How to fold clothes (with visual demonstrations of each step!)
How to take a shower & dry yourself off (also provides ways to shave beards, armpits, legs and genitals)
How to shave legs, armpits, beards, pubic areas, etc. (a more in-depth guide)
How to mop the floor
How to sweep the floor
How to swallow pills
How to make small talk
How to make eye contact in different situations (or how to avoid it while still looking natural)
It's also perfectly okay if these don't help or aren't appealing to you. Unfortunately, nothing helps everyone.
How is Junie B. losing? Amelia Bedelia just takes figures of speech literally and messes up because of it, and that's... pretty much it. Whereas Junie B. is a much fuller character, has an amazing voice (one of my favorite narrators ever), and is just all-around hilarious and awesome.
Junie B. takes figures of speech literally too, just to a much more believable (yet still hilarious) extent. She once misunderstood her grandma describing her newborn brother as "the cutest little monkey" and thought he was an actual monkey (and naturally proceeded to tell everyone at school about her monkey brother).
And that's just one of her numerous hilarious qualities (unlike Amelia Bedelia, who has basically just the one trait). She's rambunctios and chaotic and silly, but always in a very believable and relatable five-(later six-)year-old way. And she has real emotional depth. I would go on, but if I do I'll just end up quoting my many favorite scenes from those books, and that will go on forever.
Oh, and if you're just voting for Amelia because you find her literal-mindedness a relatable neurodivergent trait... Junie B. could definitely have ADHD, only she's also actually well-written and has more than one personality trait.
Round 3 poll 6: Amelia Bedelia vs Junie B. Jones
Propaganda:
Amelia Bedelia:
The whole series is about her taking figures of speech literally. Relatable because she shows the English language is confusing as fu-
she's very silly, and her books were among my favorites as a kid. her whole deal is that she takes metaphors very literally, which results in lots of shenanigans when someone asks her to do something. i still think about her "dusting the furniture" (covering it with dust) and "drawing the drapes" (drawing a picture of them on a piece of paper) when i clean anything.
queen of literal interpretation!
She's just a silly goofy type
absent-minded/processing issues queen
Well meaning and kind hearted but bumbling maid who’s made generations of kids laugh with her literalist antics
Junie B. Jones:
She's a total icon for weird little girls everywhere. She has a peep in her pocket. She's a party animal. She's a beauty shop guy. She's captain field day. She only likes B and that's all. She's everything.
