Sleep is based of sekhmet and hathor, hence the red liquid. Theres a myth about sekhmet's bloodlust being cured via beer dyed red
Sekhmet is the godess of disease, war, and healing
Hathor is the godess of sky, love and sometimes attributed to music.

Deathgrippers, while only seen to be trained with their own venom, are classified as trainable. I like to think iii just matches their energy enough to be the first to train one
