I would like to start selling art/do comissions too but Idk how to get followers and buyers, any tips?
Of course! So, what I’ve found helps is starting off with fanart, especially of popular things. People in those fandoms will see it and if they like your work, the’ll be more willing to buy from you or follow you.
Another thing is tagging, especially here on tumblr. Try to use as many relevant tags as possible to increase the chances of people seeing it.
Another thing to do if you’re just starting out is offer some requests for followers, if you can! Just remember not to overwhelm yourself with it, so limit yourself to a few. But my recent raffle brought at least 30 new followers in!
Lastly, don’t let anybody swindle you out of your art or money. Set your commission prices to what you think they’re worth, and don’t let people guilt you into giving them free art. And try not to get discouraged if people don’t buy right away! Tumblr is a big site, and things get lost very easily. It’s frustrating when nobody seems interested in your art, but remember that selling art isn’t easy to begin with, and that sooner or later, you will get a commission!
Hope that helps a little!
But is Ari-Gator a Gamer Gater?
I... don’t believe so?

Hi! I just wanted to say that I really love your art style and I think it's very cute! :)
Thank you so much!
