Here, Have Some Photos Of A Laser Cutter In Action! This Is One Of The Things Thats Keeping My Super

Here, have some photos of a laser cutter in action! This is one of the things that’s keeping my super busy this month. Someone ordered 30 of these horned headbands, to be used in as I understand it a color guard act. So I’m making these as quickly as I can.
The other thing that’s keeping me busy this month is apartment hunting. The place I’m in now is being gutted to become condos as of September, and so I’m having Fun Times with Craigslist.

Been making lots of masks for the last week or two! Most of these are new or recently revised designs. I’m pretty happy with some of them, but I’ve also gotten more itchy about making more big 3D designs, and these didn’t quite do it for me.
But now I need to get good photos of them. But for that I need to corral friends to model them, and shit is busy in my friend circle right now. But I was tired of these just piling up in my room and going unacknowledged, so here they are on my floor for now.
I could probably make do with just still shots of a bunch of them, but that’s never really satisfying to me. Plus I just moved apartments and haven’t found a good spot to use as a backdrop yet. I guess I could set up a paper backdrop, but I’ve just never been excited by that when I’ve done it. And I still don’t have a mannequin head.
Anyone live in the Boston/Cambridge/Somerville area and want to model some masks? I could always use some more friends too.

New mask! Superhero mask! Works with glasses! Made from old design but never posted old design because old design worked badly. Now work good!
Am still asleep because wtf is morning anyway. But mask is for sale! Capitalism!

Didn't manage to rustle up friends to model masks today, but I wanted to post some stuff. So here's a new mask design, a fox!
Not quite big enough ears to call it a fennec, but I wanted them to be fairly big.
Worked out a way to make the nose that I actually like and isn't too fussy! It's not super visible from this angle but oh well. It also gives a good delineation for painting the nose, so that's fun. I think the next copy I make of this design, I'm going to draw out a swirling filigree pattern to give some texture to the surface.
This mask is up for sale on my Etsy shop!

I haven't designed a leather bracelet in a long time, like 2 or 3 years I think. But I had this idea that I wanted to wear around for the Halloween season, so I drew it up and made it today. Unusually for me, I hand-cut the whole thing. Sadly, I messed up on scaling when tracing it from my computer to the leather, and it came out a bit too small for me. So I've posted it up for sale on Etsy here. I'm planning on heading in to laser-cut more things tomorrow, so I'll probably make a copy for myself then. This one will fit a wrist at 6.5 inches around. It's 2.5 inches across at its widest point. It's available for immediate shipping.
