the fact that rights is someone who, despite it all, prides herself on being as kind as she possibly can is something that is so interesting to me. despite everything she's only ever really broken down a couple times, that being in glass' office and when she was having a bad day. i think the fact that everyone seems to consider her a mother is heavily based on the fact that she is just someone who wants to be kind and refuses to let the foundation break her. she is a very ''motherly'' person, at least in the eyes of everyone surrounding her, and yet when she does become a mother she's not. bad. she's not the best, and she doesn't enjoy it, but she isn't abusive. she doesn't try to hurt her daughter. the only time she'd ever even thought about it was when she was stood over her daughter while she slept, and even then the mere thought of her baby just completely ceasing her breathing made her panic and spiral to the point she stayed in the room the rest of the night. i think it's really telling how a lot of her coworkers and friends always tell her she'd be such a good mother, but then when she actually has a child to take care of they just brush it aside. nobody ever really even acknowledges it, just immediately expecting her to continue to take on her normal work load while still caring for her child and half her coworkers. and she does!! thats the worst part!! she's so used to it that the thought of stopping doesn't even occur to her. she is, at heart, a kind, caring woman, who does her best to keep a positive attitude despite her surroundings leading multiple of her coworkers to literally commit suicide, and i think nobody ever wants to look at that aspect of her because she's easily characterized as some slutty milf or whatever
