I'd like to think that Izzy "kidnaps" her friends when she knows they're getting overwhelmed.

Like, she'd drag them away or toss them over her shoulder randomly (to anyone else who isn't her friend) and leave. Maybe cracking a joke or making a comment, but nothing that would imply that her friends were overwhelmed.

for anyone curious about the au:

it's a canon rewrite of total drama: island, action, and world tour focused on Noah. I may rewrite all-stars and possibly RR, but I am not sure yet. it's from Noah's perspective (but still in 3rd person) for a majority of the fic.

Noah intentionally gets himself voted off in season 1 and ends up becoming Chris' personal assistant halfway through season 2 and helps make challenges.

it will be a fic on AO3 (eventually). i am planning on finishing it and then releasing it all at once instead of posting chapters as a write, so I'm not sure when I'll be finished with it but I'm about 16k into the fic I'm writing and have finished seasons 1 and 2, and I've just started writing season 3. if anyone is interested, I'll post a link when I finish it :3.
