CHAPTER THREE OF MY FIC IS FINALLY UP!!

I uploaded it a couple of hours ago but I didn’t have the time to post the update here ahhh srry.

Fic Summary: Having an Identity crisis sucks, and it’s just Gabriel’s luck that it’s on this godawful show that he (?) was dared to audition for, at least he isn’t the only one questioning himself. His friend Trent is also having similar problems. Or:

Gwen is a trans girl and Trent is nonbinary, but in this au Gwen doesn’t find out she’s trans or transition pre Total Drama, instead that’s when her and Trent figure out that they’re not who they thought they were.

Chapter 3 Summary: Trent can’t help but wonder if Gabriel is hiding something that’s bothering him, and all Gabriel wants to do right now is to scream into his pillow and possibly punch a guy.

I think that a lot of the time people forget that all of contestants in gen1 are kids for the majority of the seasons they’re in. They were all only 16 in the start of TDI and 17 in TDWT (with possible exceptions bc of the months they were born in but still!)

They’re gonna be immature, they’re gonna not be the best at navigating platonic or romantic relationships (NOT defending the cheating thing). And some of you guys reprimand and demonize them like they’re fully grown adults. The human brain doesn’t finish growing until 25 for Pete’s sake!

I’m not saying don’t reprimand them at all for anything just cut them some slack they’re still learning how to be humans

I finished writing the chapter!

It’ll be uploaded at 2:45 pm est today at the latest ,most likely around 12:30, bc I’m too busy rn to write the summary and notes and stuff (literally typing as I’m eating rn)

But yeah I’m so happy to finally be able to upload this chapter!

Finally had time to make some actual significant progress on chapter 3 of my fic for the first time in weeks (seriously I jinxed myself so hard when I said my life was getting less chaotic and I’d be able to get out chapters faster) and ahh It’ll take me at least another day from now, probably a couple because I’m celebrating new years with my family.

But yeah I’m super excited for you guys to see it! Things are really ramping up plot wise this chapter :)
