niki would be the first out of you two to suspect something was different with the way you were acting. you had been getting sick every morning and your night cravings were way different to what they were before.

riki was sat next to the toilet, rubbing your back gently as you vomited into the toilet bowl. he sighed, using his other hand to hold your hair back. it was a very early hour and he simply couldn’t understand why for the past few days, you had been feeling so sick. “ y/n.. maybe you’re pregnant” he suggested quietly as you looked up at him. he stood up, quick to grab a cup that you had left on yet sink from the night before, filling it up with water and passing it to you. you shook your head with a frown, looking up at him. “no.. no way.” you mumbled, your head starting to fill with thoughts of having a child. niki ended up running to the pharmacy, grabbing a few pregnancy tests before rushing back home to hand them to you

flipping over the stick, your eyes widened at the sight infront of you with a gasp. niki creaked the bathroom door open at the sound of your gasp, poking his head in. “it’s positive.” you said shakily, tears brimming your eyes as you put the stick down. half of you was super excited while the other half was really worried. you had no doubts about niki and how good of a dad he would be. it was just more yourself. would you be a good mother. rikis giddy giggle pulled you out of your thoughts and placed a soft smile on your own lips.

he rushed into the bathroom, pulling you into a tight hug. he paced his hands with yours, moving away to look into your eyes. “ we are going to be the best parents ever. i’ll do whatever it takes to keep my babies happy.” he said softly, placing a kiss on your forehead before pulling you into another hug.

a/n: hi my love! for sure, i hope you enjoy :) it’s not anything too long!! just a short drabble while i wait for my bus!

the cool breeze blew against you and jungwon as you ran down the road with laughter spurring out of your mouths. “ i won the race!” you called out, teasing him with your tongue out while he simply stared at you, love strucked.

unbeknown to you, jungwon could’ve easily beaten you if we wanted to but he enjoyed seeing you so happy, even if that meant he would get teased. he groaned in fake despair, waddling over to you to pull the both of you off the road as a car could be heard approaching from somewhere down the street.

this wasn’t the first time you and jungwon had gone on a walk together but it was definitely something new every time you went.

you had starting walking along the sidewalk, jungwon intertwining his hands with yours, a light blush on his cheeks. hearing a whistle from besides the two of you, jungwon turned to his to look at a younger guy, leaning against a fence.

“ her pretty lady! i can treat you better than that guy. come over here” he called out, eyeing you up and down. jungwon scowled at the man, standing on the side where he was, trying to maintain distance between you and the guy.

he didn’t say anything but you could tell her was fuming. jungwon simply glared at the man, scoffing when the man had stood up and walked away. you sighed, watching him walk away before tugging on jungwons arm

“ jungwonnie, i love you. i won’t leave you.. ever.” you mumbled, making sure the guy was out of sight before getting up on your tippy toes to give jungwon a peck on his nose.

and just like that, he was back to his normal, cheery self.

“noona..” jungwons voice creaked out, stirring you around in your sleep. repeating it again, he placed a soft hand on your shoulder, careful not to startle you. “ noona, wake up..” he muttered, a little bit louder this time. letting out a small groan, you had woken up from your sleep rubbing your eyes with a frown tattooed on your face. already, jungwon had already started to mumble out apologies for waking you up until you had stopped him with a small tap on his sweaty hand that still rested on your shoulder.

“what’s wrong wonie?” you asked gently, sitting up while peaking your eyes to open. the state jungwon was in almost crushed your heart. his eyes were red and puffy, hair messy and cheeks stained with previous tears. “ what happened?” you asked, this time with more urgency in your voice. jungwon wasn’t the type to have nightmares but when he did, they were really bad. he explained that he had a nightmare and you opened your arms immediately. cooing, you wrapped your arms around his figure that had placed itself next to you. he let out another quiet sob, burying his face in your shoulder. “ shhh… it’s okay, you’re safe now.” you whispered, hoping it would somewhat comfort him. “ sleep here tonight, okay?”, laying yourselves down while rubbing comforting circles on his back.

he had seemed to somewhat calm down and his previously wide eyes had grown tired and sleepy. allowed him to continue to rest against you, you brought your hand up to his hair, gently playing with it. something you did ever movie night which seemed to make him sleep in an instant. a few minutes pass and jungwons head grew heavy against your shoulder, meaning he had fallen asleep, you following him into dreamworld not soon after.

feeling limbs untangle with yours mixed with the sunlight seeping out of the window pulled you out of your dream. you felt a pressure lift off the bed next to you, making you open your eyes, only to squint straight after. “ go back to sleep noona…” jungwon said softly, padding over to your side of the bed. his eyes weren’t puffy anymore but his cheeks were sure rosy. he looked so cute, it was almost as if you could k… no that would be weird… “ y/n noona, thank you for last night.” he said, sitting down next to you on the bed just as he did last night.

he leaned over, leaving a small kiss on your cheek. now his face was much more than rosy and you were sure your face was too. he let out a tiny giggle, standing up before kissing your other cheek, ruffling your hair, and walking out of the room.

…did that all really just happen?

He likes your laugh, the way you tip your head back as giggles escape your lips. (He loves being the cause of your laughter.) He likes hearing the excited gasp you let out whenever he goes temporarily insane and buys you a bouquet of your favourite flowers, even though he thinks giving flowers is overrated—but for you, he’ll make an exception. (He loves the way your eyes light up with gratitude and unspoken confessions.) He likes it whenever you slide your hand into his and interlock your fingers, giving them a light squeeze. (He loves the way your lips curl up in a smile whenever he squeezes back.)

So he doesn’t deny it when you say, “You’re a hopeless romantic, Haechan.”

He adjusts his arm around your shoulders to a more comfortable position. “Oh? How so?”

“Well,” you begin, “you bought me flowers today—my favourite kind, too. You let me choose the movie tonight, even though you knew I’d just pick the same one we saw last month. You made hot chocolate for me when I said I was feeling cold, even though I woke you up in your sleep. And you’re here with me now, even though you’re sleepy and tired.”

“Who said I’m sleepy?” He grins at you.

“You’ve yawned no less than six times in the past five minutes.”

“No, I haven’t,” he counters, even as he tries to fight off another yawn.

“Yes, you have,” you say. He lets you curl up closer to him, stealing his warmth. (It doesn’t matter; he has more than enough warmth to share, anyway.) “You’re a hopeless romantic no matter what you say, Lee Haechan.”

“Maybe,” he hums, not bothering to rebuke you—he’d let you bicker with him and win, either way. “But do you know why?”

You shake your head, the movement causing your hair to rustle against the sweater thrown around his shoulders.

“Do you wanna know?”

“Yes,” you breathe out, and he can hear the smile in your voice.

“It’s because,” he says, voice barely more than a whisper, “I’m in love with you.”
