If you live in the USA and you're pleading for donations to pay your rent, bills, or get food then dial 211! Please dial 211 before the last minute!

It's a toll free service with people who will help you find programs in your community to pay those bills, find food, and find housing! They will give you numbers to call so you can get help.

It is not 100% foolproof. Their job is to direct you to a program they believe will help your current issue, but it's still a step up from praying random strangers online will give you enough cash before a deadline! The added benefit of these community programs, which get funded by the local government most of the time, is if there are more people using them then they can get more money to help more people.

You're not taking resources from other people if you use your community services. Your taxes pay for them. Use them.

What I would give for a fully-voiced crossover

a screenshot of two digital sketches. the first is jon and martin from the magnus archives. martin is a large, freckled man with round glasses and curly hair in need of a trim. jon is shorter and has darker skin and scattered scars along with streaks of white in short cropped hair. both are staring at the camera in confusion and jon's eyes are glowing faintly green. the second sketch is arthur and john from malevolent. arthur has shaggy hair and stubble on his face and john is a smoke-like entity with glowing yellow eyes. beside them is a speech bubble that reads "Arthur, they're staring at us..."

The Dreamlands discord was talking and this happened.

I think if a fairy showed up at my house like yeah they are not real but there is narrative precedent for that. a fairy, if it existed, would show up at a house. i just need to suspend one disbelief everything else tracks. it's a big surprise, but a singular one. i would know how to get with the programm pretty quick.

if a walrus knocked at my door there would be many more fucking questions than one. a walrus showing up at my house? knowing that knocking is the required social etiquette? having reasons to know on my door and somehow the ability to do that despite having no arms? said walrus coming to me of all people?? a walrus being real is the least of my concerns at that point why the fuck does it need my help what kind of problem can I solve that a socially aware and apparently findextrous walrus fucking can't
