Another thing I've noticed working as a children's librarian is like... kids get so Paralyzed By Choice and the adults in their lives never really register why. Like, for example, we have little scavenger hunt sheets in the children's section and when a kid completes it, they get to pick out a cute eraser from our prize basket. We also have a little toy prize chest as part of our "1000 books before Kindergarten" challenge for when kids complete 100 books--and kids will spend minutes carefully picking through everything while their parents are shooting us anxious looks like "sorry they're taking so long! I know this is silly and it's completely ridiculous that my child is taking so long to choose between a bath toy and a cube puzzle because these are cheap and arbitrary objects! Hurry up, Harper! Just pick something! You're embarrassing me!!" But in the kids' perspective, they already have so little control over what objects come into their lives, and in this case, the object represents labor and effort on their end, so of course they feel they must choose very carefully. I've always been an anxious and indecisive person, so it's striking to see how being rushed really doesn't help that and really only makes it harder for kids to figure out what they want.
I love this fandom, look at this person's comment:

n 1920, a few short years after J.R R.Tolkien returned from World War I, he began an endearing family Christmas tradition that would continue for the next 23 years. An adept illustrator whose original drawings accompanied many of his writings, Tolkien included with many of his Christmas letters a set of charming pictures.

Sauron by anastasiyacemetery
Sauron`s names:
Mairon  "The Admirable", in Tolkienâs invented language of Quenya
Gorthu âMist of Fearâ and Gorthaur âThe Cruelâ in Sindarin
Annatar, âLord of Giftsâ Â in the Second Age
Tar-mairon âKing Excellentâ in Numenor
ZigĂťr âWizardâ in AdĂťnaic.
The Necromancer of Dol Guldur
Tolkien gives other names used by Sauron when he seduced the Elves in the Second Age: Artano(âHigh-smithâ) and Aulendil (âDevoted to AulĂŤâ)
Among his many titles and epithets were:
The Base Master of Treachery, used once by Gandalf to explain why the Mouth of Sauron should not be trusted. The Black One, used once by Gollum. The Black Hand, used twice by Gollum. The Black Master, used by Isildur when cursing Sauronâs former servants, the Oathbreakers. The Dark Lord, given by the Free Peoples after he rose in the Second Age. The Dark Power, used by Gandalf. The Deceiver, given by Amandil before departing to ask the Valar deliverance from Sauronâs corruption. The Enemy, given by the Free Peoples after he rose in the Second Age. The One Enemy, used once by Frodo Baggins. The Great, following the name of Sauron, it is only used once by Gandalf, once by GlĂłin, and once by the Mouth of Sauron. King of Kings, given by himself when he rose in the Second Age, enraging Ar-PharazĂ´n. Lord of the Earth, given by himself when he rose in the Second Age. King of Men, given by himself when he rose in the Second Age, enraging Ar-PharazĂ´n. Lord of the World, given by himself when he rose in the Second Age, enraging Ar-PharazĂ´n. The Nameless, probably given by the people of Gondor, as it is only used by Boromir as Nameless Enemy, by Faramir as Nameless One, and by the watchmen of Gondor. The Lord of the Ring or Lord of the Rings. The Ring-maker. The Ruler, used once by Saruman during his confrontation with Gandalf. The Shadow, not properly given to him, but to his power when he expanded it in the Third Age. The Sorcerer, used during his rule in Dol Guldur when his identity was unknown.
Tolkien describes Sauronâs destruction:
..black against the pall of cloud, there rose a huge shape of shadow, impenetrable, lightning-crowned, filling all the sky. Enormous it reared above the world, and stretched out towards them a vast threatening hand, terrible but impotent: for even as it leaned over them, a great wind took it, and it was all blown away, and passed; and then a hush fell
