Making tortured Griffith Helmet Part 1

Since I couldn’t find a tutorial on how to make a Griffith helmet I decided to show how I did it. So here we go! 1. Use a big polystyrene ball (mine is 25cm) as reference 

2. Make the pattern using plastic wrap and masking tape

3. Cut it out

4. Cut it out of paper

5. Cut it out of EVA foam

6. Use a heat gun to warm up the EVA foam so it’s easy to bend and glue it together

7. Repeat the entire process (now use the finished foam as reference)

8. Make the lower half the same way 

9. Stick both parts together….and you have a tortured Griffith helmet!
