Us: "They're coming back!!!"

Them: "Aw neat! For a season 2?"

Us: "...they're coming back."

Them: "Oh. Um, do you know when? What they're appearing in?"

Us: "...they're...they're coming back."

Summary: Peter Maximoff decides to hang out with Wanda before heading off to his universe.

Writer's note: This fic is based on the song Money by The Drums. I should probably mention I haven’t finished Wandavision but i know the basic gist. I didn't read through this so apologies for any mistakes.

Peter groggily walks into the kitchen of Wanda’s apartment. After the whole Westview situation, Wanda managed to get herself an apartment where she and Peter stayed together. Even thought they weren’t technically related, he was the closest thing to a brother that Wanda has had in a long time. She’s be a fool to not let him stay with her.

He wasn’t half bad at being a roommate too. After getting freed from Agatha’s curse, he became well, Peter. It was hard for Wanda to adjust. The man who just walked into her kitchen wasn’t Pietro but Peter. A completely different person. Their personality was way different too. Peter was more playful and liked lazing around. He was like her brother but… he wasn’t him; and yet, why did she feel as though he was her brother?

“Are you excited?” Wanda asks, looking up from the sausages that she was cooking. “Huh?” Peter hums, half-asleep. “Today is the day, Peter. You’re… You’re going home.” Wanda’s voice falters.

Home. This place wasn’t his home, and even though she wished he would stay with her… It would be selfish of her to take him away from the people he loved.

“Oh crap- that’s today?” He asks, rubbing his eyes. "What-What time do we have to go and meet that wizard dude?"

Wanda chuckles. "Probably right after you take a shower and eat," She puts the frying pan on the island. "Here, eat this. Eat quick, its already 11:00."

~ Peter wasn’t an idiot. He could tell that Wanda didn’t want him to go, and it broke his heart. The way Wanda would avert her eyes and her voice would falter. She tried to hide it but Peter knew. Maybe it was sibling intuition. Multiversal sibling intuition.

Unknown to Wanda, Peter also didn't want to leave her. Peter had told her a lot about his past. He had told her about Erik, the X-Men, the mansion, his life and his family. Something he didn't mention was the fact that he used to have a twin sister. Only, she had passed when they were younger. Wanda... He was like his twin. He'd like to imagine that she was what his twin would end up being. Wanda was the closest thing to a twin sister, he'd ever have again; he was absolutely shattered inside when he learned that he had to leave her. Especially after everything she had been through. She had been through so much and Peter had listen to her woes. It broke him to know that after this she would be alone.

"I'm ready!" Peter shouts, zipping to the front door. "Great!" Wanda says, a fake smile on her face.

Peter follows her out, pursing his lips. Peter grabs her shoulder.

"What are you doing?" Wanda asks. Peter holds the back of her head, putting an arm around her waist. "I'm holding your head so you don't get whiplash." "What?" "Whip-laaaashhh"

With a giant grin on his face, Peter runs. He knows where Wanda would like to go. Wanda always mentioned wanting to go to a carnival. It was great timing that there was a carnival a few kilometers out.

"And...Ta-da!" Peter says, a giant grin plastered across his face. The grin immediately turning to a grimace as he watches Wanda bend over, holding her stomach.

"It'll pass," Peter says, pursing his lips. "Where are we? We're.. We're supposed to be at the Sanctum," Wanda says, standing up and staring daggers at Peter. Peter only smiled in return. "Who cares about the wizard? It's my last day here. In the modern world, in the world with you," Peter says, looking around. Wanda stares at him enquisitavely.

"My point is... Before I go, I want to do something nice." Wanda falters. "Come on, let's go have some fun!" Peter says immediately after. He grabs her hand and leads her into the carnival.

The sun was setting. Peter and Wanda sat on the ferris wheel, Wanda telling Dr. Strange that she would come in a few more minutes.

"Hey," Peter says, breaking the silence. Wanda hums in response. "I'm sorry," Peter says, looking at his sister. "I... I really wish that I could stay, or that, maybe you can come with me?"

Wanda falters, blinking at Peter. She had never seen Peter this quiet and melancholic.

"Truth be told, I wish I could come with you," Wanda replies. She doesn't return Peter's gaze and instead looks at the setting sun. "But... I don't think Strange would approve of that," She says, chuckling drily.

The ferris wheel stops and they both step out. Peter stays quiet. "Come on, we better get going," Wanda says, elbowing Peter.

They enter the Sanctum Sanctorum. Peter remains quiet as Wanda walks up to Dr. Strange.

"Strange!" Wanda says, a smile plastered on her face. "and, America." She calls out to the young girl next to the former doctor.

"For a guy who has superspeed, you are very late," Dr. Strange says, his eyebrow raised. Peter smiles. "Well... I never wanted to be early," Peter smiles sheepishly.

Dr. Strange rolls his eyes.

"Whatever, let's get this over with, Chavez!" "Already on it!" America says punching the air and causing a rift to open.

"What in the..." Peter says, speechless. "Peter?!" Erik says, staring in disbelief at his missing son. "Hi..." Peter says awkwardly, before getting engulfed in a hug by his father.

"I told you he would turn up sooner or later," Charles Xavier says, smiling at the two people. "Who are you?"

"We're... We're friends of his," Wanda answers, blinking back tears. Peter pulls away from his dad's hug. "Wanda... I'll... I'll miss you." "Peter, who is this?" Erik asks. "She's... She's my sister."

Erik's eyes widen. Before he could say anything Charles interrupts him. "I sense that you have immense power in you, dear girl; I wish you the best Miss Maximoff."

Wanda nods before looking at Strange. Her eyes pleading. "I'll miss you Peter, take care. I'm sorry I can't go with you," Wanda says. "Who said you can't go?" Dr. Strange asks. "What?" "Your world doesn't have a Wanda does it Peter?"

Peter shakes his head. "My twin... She died when we were quite young." "Then, I see no harm in her joining you." Wanda's eyes lit up. "Are you sure you want to do this Wanda?" Strange asks. "As sure as I can be," Wanda says stepping into the rift. "You'll fit right in here dear," Charles says, giving a warm smile to the red-headed girl. "If you need me, you know where to find me," She says to Strange.

"Have fun Wanda..." Strange says. The rift closes. "Please don't cause an incursion," He whispers to himself. It was more of a wish rather than a plead.

the movie was so GOOD i want to watch it again like 100 or way more times
