Suad Ahmad is an engineer from Gaza. She graduated from university at the top of her class and was rapidly excelling in her career as an instructor, consultant, and team leader.

EMERGENCYHelp A New Mother And Her Baby Find Food, Medical Care, And Safety

Suad, her husband, and their family were overjoyed to find out she was pregnant. Sadly, this was only a week before occupation began its illegal scorched earth campaign against the people of Gaza. Suad's home (left) and workplace (right) were destroyed, and she and her husband's family were displaced from the north.

After building a scaffolding structure for their family in the supposed “safe area” in Rafah (left), the occupation attacked the city and forced their evacuation. Suad and her family were then displaced to Deir al-Balah, where they procured a tent (right). As you can see, these are small, vulnerable structures, completely exposed to the elements. They were exposed to multiple disease vectors while also being unable to procure enough food. During this time, Suad became extremely sick with gastroenteritis, a dangerous condition during pregnancy.

EMERGENCYHelp A New Mother And Her Baby Find Food, Medical Care, And Safety

On the day she went into labor, Suad had to walk a great distance to the hospital. Upon arrival, she found that the hospital was operating at bare minimal capacity. There was not even a bed for her to use. Suad’s baby was born with minimal medical support, and the ordeal was extremely difficult. The occupation then began bombing the vicinity of the hospital. Suad and her baby were in immense danger, with nowhere to turn.

Unfortunately, the situation has only gotten worse. Suad and her infant are now living in a tent in extreme heat. IOF attacks continue, putting their lives in immediate danger. The occupation’s blockade on Rafah Crossing and the destruction of roads and infrastructure has led to increased, extreme food scarcity. Suad cannot find enough food to feed herself or her baby. She has not been able to recover from the difficult birth, and her baby is missing out on crucial nutrition needed for neonatal development.

Suad has had a campaign open for several weeks, raising support so that she, her husband, and her husband’s mother and sister could evacuate to Egypt. Sadly, progress has been slow. She was unable to collect the necessary resources to evacuate before the occupation illegally seized Rafah Crossing, the only border crossing that would enable evacuation.

However, international pressure continues to mount on the occupation to depart the crossing. Once they do, Suad and her baby need to be able to evacuate to Egypt for their health and safety. You can help make this possible by directly supporting them at the link below.

Please, help give Suad and her baby a better chance at life. If you cannot give, please reblog this post and repost the link▶️ (https://gofund.me/ebaee2af) across all of your social media accounts.

Home memories🥺

I always think of our home, which we left nine months ago. How sad he is without us. He became accustomed to us as we became accustomed to him. He witnessed our joys and sorrows, witnessed all the stages of our lives.

I felt as if my house were alive! For I believe that homes have souls just like us. Since we had to flee from our home, he has become alone. He does not hear our voices. He does not hear the sound of my key when I return from work late in the evening. He does not hear the voice of my wife while she works in her kitchen. He does not hear the soft snores of my children while they are asleep. He does not hear them play, the sound of our usual laughter is missing. He does not even hear our loud voices when we fight!

Now he is a pile of stones, and all he hears is the annoying noise of aircraft and continuous bombing. I always wonder about his condition. Does he miss us as much as we miss him? His loneliness hurts me, as does our distance from him...

Though I have my hope! As I progress in my campaign, I feel that I am getting closer to rebuilding my home and returning to him. I often imagine that we have returned home and saying "We have finally come back to our home! " He will once again be home to us, because I believe homes only die if their residents are absent! I don't want our house to die... Please help me return to him.

read and reblog please

I want to make sure this information gets through to everyone: the racist genocidal German state could deport Bilal @bilal-salah0 within the next week, after he lost his job and home, heaping cruelty after cruelty onto this young man who has been working nonstop to provide for his family facing genocide in Gaza.

he's supporting 18 people there, including 8 kids under age 16. now Bilal needs to finish fundraising for his family before August 15th when he could be deported. that's one week from today.

Bilal needs to raise €25000 in the next 7 days to make sure his family has enough to survive if he can no longer fundraise. Bilal shared this dire news with us on Tuesday, but in spite of thousands of notes on @malcriada, @appsa, and others' posts about the situation, the campaign received only €3650 in the last two days.

it seems like people are somehow not seeing the urgency and severity of the situation. donations also slowed over the past week because Bilal couldn't be online to promote the campaign, and because of the recent racist attacks against fundraising efforts here. there's a lot of ground to make up and very little time, but we can do it. please donate any amount you can, those €5s add up if enough people help. reblog this as well as the posts linked above, and tell your friends and social media outside tumblr. and most importantly, seriously, please donate whatever you can. we need to come through for Bilal's family now, not later. please take this seriously, please help them.

August 8th: €75,467 / €100,000

God, Palestinians can't have anything

Dear friends..
Today I found this little male puppy! He was afraid and suffering from sunburn, alone and hungry. I took him to my tent, cleaned him up and fed him. Later I will buy a dewormer. I will take care of him in my new home. Will you help me find a beautiful name for him? pic.twitter.com/GxgVwWfppC

— Cat lover (@Lawyer_Animal1) May 24, 2024
I named him Hope "الامل "
We send love / peace to your pure hearts. There is great hope on the horizon for freedom from injustice/oppression ... Thank you so much dear friends. https://t.co/TLSHbi1Za9 pic.twitter.com/gEXkmaD8nv

1/3… Dear friends …
I am heartbroken to tell you that my puppy, Hope, died yesterday. How quickly I had become attached to my happy little companion … I imagined him growing up before my eyes. I am not certain what may have caused his soul to leave so soon. https://t.co/OE2DcKX3AV pic.twitter.com/QDWde4VC4z

— Cat lover (@Lawyer_Animal1) June 3, 2024
2/3… Perhaps his baby heart was unable to withstand the previous night’s close explosions & yesterday’s intense bombardment that shook the ground beneath us. Was it fear that killed him, or did the intense pressure cause a heart attack? I ran to him but to my shock, he was dead.

— Cat lover (@Lawyer_Animal1) June 3, 2024
3/3… Yesterday evening I sat by the sea, in the same place where Hope had bathed earlier, in the gentle sunshine and beautiful weather. Perhaps he should have been called Love.

— Cat lover (@Lawyer_Animal1) June 3, 2024

I've often seen this person's posts pop up, he's known for the number of cats he feeds, even before this, hence the username. The other day, I remember seeing that pic of him and that tiny little puppy on the beach and being cheered up by it. It's just so sad... they literally can't have anything.

If anyone wants to help this man, he has links for both an evacuation gofundme and PayPal to help feed the cats:
