Urgent Plea from Wafaa: Save Her Daughters and Grandchildren
Wafaa's family is verified by Hussein (@el-shab-hussein) and Nairuz (@nabulsi) on their spreadsheet (family number 171).
As you may know, tumblr shadowbanned Wafaa on her old blog for three times in two weeks, which prompted her to create a new (now defunct) blog, which lost messaging within 12 hours of creating it, and then promptly got deleted without notice. The response I got when approaching staff about the frequent shadowbans Wafaa was dealt can be read here. tumblr refused to restore Wafaa's account and said any new blog would experience the same treatment.
By now Wafaa has not seen her 6 hardworking daughters (who all have promising careers and educations in front of them) as well as her 4 grandchildren (the oldest of them being 5 years old, and the youngest of whom is born in December of last year, just 6 months old) in five months.

Three weeks ago, Wafaa received news that her beloved sister and niece were both martyred by an iof bombing. Wafaa is anxious to not lose any of her other loved ones and hopes to reach her campaign goal before the start of August, which is when unofficial sources have said Rafah crossing will be opening again.
I would also like to bring your attention to one of Wafaa's daughters, who had to give birth in a compromised hospital in December while suffering from an intense chest wound from iof bomb shrapnel. She was unable to get sufficient prenatal nor postpartum care for herself nor her son, and now is suffering major complications not just from inadequate care but also from infection from her badly healed chest wound. Because of stress and infection, Wafaa's daughter has not been able to breastfeed her infant son, who because of this has been suffering from malnutrition, which could have debilitating long term effects.

Please, do not look away from this family. We have raised about 84% for Wafaa already, let's maintain this momentum until the end of the month to reunite Wafaa with them!!!
Currently €42,369 raised of €50,000 goal as of July 21. That's €7,631 left to raise to complete the overall campaign goal!
We raised only €159 for Wafaa in the last 2 hours, so any reblogs and donations to the best of your ability is greatly appreciate to help Wafaa's daughters, her grandchildren, and the new mother and her infant son!!!

Raffles that you can enter by donating to Wafaa:
beautiful journals available until July 31 provided by @turian for any proof of donation to Wafaa for at least €5. more details see @journalsforpalestine
wonderful art commissions provided by @aristotels here which ends July 23 for proof of donation for at least €10 to Wafaa.

Today is 266 days, we are still alive. 🇵🇸🍉
Please don't skip! 🙏🏻🥺
Please consider sharing or donating, thank you! 🩷🍉

Palestinian men should not have to repeatedly hold up pictures of their family struggling through a genocide, for us to care about them. Fundraisers conducted by/for Palestinian men, should not have to repeatedly refer to their mothers, sisters, wives and children, to make us realize their humanity, their vulnerability. Enough. Isn't it enough after so many months? Hadn't it always been enough?
today's vetted fundraisers. i know i there are lots of these floating around, but please keep sharing and donating if you can, even if it's a small amount. if we disengage, we dash these families' hopes for a better future

any contribution you can make is infinitely valuable, regardless of the size of your following or the amount you can give. let's keep working together to support families like these suffering violence and displacement. your help can save lives.
My name is Suad Ahmad, and I am an engineer from Gaza. I graduated from university at the top of my class and quickly advanced in my career as an instructor, consultant, and team leader. My husband and I were overjoyed to learn that I was pregnant, but our happiness was short-lived. Just a week later, the occupation began its illegal scorched earth campaign against the people of Gaza. Our home and my workplace were destroyed, and my husband's family and I were displaced from the north.
On the day I went into labor, I had to walk a great distance to the hospital. When I arrived, I found that the hospital was operating at minimal capacity, and there wasn't even a bed for me. My baby was born with minimal medical support, and the experience was extremely difficult. Then, the occupation began bombing the vicinity of the hospital, putting us in immense danger with nowhere to turn.
Unfortunately, the situation has only gotten worse. My baby and I are now living in a tent in extreme heat. The attacks continue, putting our lives in immediate danger. The blockade on Rafah Crossing and the destruction of roads and infrastructure have led to extreme food scarcity. I cannot find enough food to feed myself or my baby. I have not been able to recover from the difficult birth, and my baby is missing out on crucial nutrition needed for neonatal development.
Once the Rafah crossing reopens, my baby and I need to evacuate to Egypt for our health and safety. You can help make this possible by directly supporting us at the link below. Please, help give my baby and me a better chance at life. If you cannot give, please reblog this post and share the link (https://gofund.me/ebaee2af) across all of your social media accounts.
