“You made a mistake choosing me,” you muttered underneath your breath, hoping that he was fast asleep and wouldn’t hear you.

You were just so, so frustrated with yourself. The two of you couldn’t have been more of the textbook definition of opposites. Jisung was lively, filled with energy, always a joy to be around and lit up every room he entered with his blindingly beautiful smile.

He couldn’t have picked more of a dud to be with.

Jisung deserved someone who matched his energy, someone who could give him the love he deserves, someone who wasn’t currently wallowing in self pity over the fact that she can’t love her boyfriend right.

You had thought you had been doing all of this correctly, loving him—being with him. That was until a small party you had went to together with your friends, and watching the way all the couples were with each other.

“Why don’t you go check on your boyfriends he seems a little lonely,” Chan laughed as he patted you on the back before walking away to refill his cup.

You know deep down Chan didn’t mean to hurt you. It was all teasing, no malicious intent and you knew that. But your stomach churned at the implication of you not knowing how Jisung felt.

Your eyes flickered across the room until you found him, watching Jisung laugh loudly at something one of his friends had said. He seemed perfectly content to you. That was until you noticed how his smile faltered ever so slightly, something so small that Chan had picked up on but you hadn’t.

His eyes flickered around the room in search of something or someone until they finally landed on you.

That same blinding smile broke out on his face as he made his way over to you. Instead of bringing you comfort like it usually did, all you could focus on in that moment was that you really, really didn’t show Han Jisung love and care the way he deserved.

To say your mood soured the rest of the night would be an understatement. Jisung had noticed of course, being the ever attentive partner that you wished so desperately you could be for him. The other couples around you didn’t help, watching as they wiped food off of each others faces or stole kisses without a care of who could be watching—catering to each others every need.

The two of you had never been particularly affectionate in public, mostly on your part and you had began to wonder if maybe that bothered him. Did he want your to hold his hand? Want you to pull him close and kiss him for everyone to witness? Are those things he had wanted and you never realized?

Jisung had confronted you shortly the two of you returned back to his dorm that night. When you had made move to leave with the intent of returning home rather than staying the night as you had previously planned, he had stopped you.

The feeling of his hands wrapped around your wrist was burning, the confusion and sadness lingering in his gaze only made you feel shittier than you had before.

“What’s going on? Did I do something?

These questions had you wallowing in even more self pity than before. Here you were, distressed about what a terrible girlfriend you are and Jisung thinks he’s done something wrong.

And that couldn’t have made you feel more pathetic and worthless.

The two of you had talked it out. You had apologized to him for everything. Jisung had tried his best to console you, telling you that no one had ever made him feel more loved in his life but you were too in your head about it. Jisung deserved better and that was always something you would believe.

You watched as he stirred slightly at the utterance of your previous words, arms gripping tightly at your torso before pulling you closer to him. Your body stiffened under his touch as you realized he had been awake.

Jisung tucked his head into your neck, pressing a soft kiss to it.

“I didn’t make a mistake,” he mumbled sleepily against your skin.

“Loving you, choosing you, is the only thing in my life that I’ve ever done right.”

He pulled back slightly, the tears in your eyes mirroring his own.

“And I’d do it over and over again.”

We need to protect our lover boy ❤️

So as a lot of you may know, it's recently been brought to our attention that Hyunjin is being terribly bullied (I'm talking d3ath threats to himself and his family) on Bubble. I'm not sure the exact numbers but hundreds of people (claiming to be Felix and Han stans) have bought Bubble just to harass Hyunjin. And unfortunately, not many Stays are being vocal about this situation.

We cannot let this happen. We need to do better. Hyunjin has given so much to us for 4 years now and he deserves so much better; he deserves for this issue to be fixed in full. Hyunjin has been through so much these past couple years alone; forced hiatus due to false bully allegations, the loss of a loved one, a fairly severe hand injury as well as exhaustion from a very busy comeback, and now this.

It's horrible and so unfair what he's gone through. While we can't stop everyone from being horrid "fans" (hopefully Jype will do something bigger than we can in regards to Bubble itself), we can at the very least give Hyunjin the love and support that he deserves. For example, those like me who have Bubble can get Hyunjin's (I'm going to do so once my subscription renews in a few days) and send him as much love as possible.

Hyunjin isn't himself anymore. He's much more quiet and less smiley. He seems just so tired (of course all the boys are after comeback) and I'm sure all of us just want him to be the usual happy Hyunie we know. So please, do what you can. Whatever social media it may be on, show him some love and tag Stray Kids if they're on that particular media. It's okay if you can't afford Bubble; any little bit you contribute helps.

Although on a more positive side, to those who have been worrying that we'll lose Hyunie in some way (whether it be another hiatus or something worse), just know that we'll never lose Hyunie. Not only does he love Stay and Stray Kids too much to leave, but he has us (and of course his family and other friends) for support. Hyunjin will be okay. We all just need to keep pushing through.
