"Desolate District"
SINE
Austin, Texas electronic project SINE have released a new track as a teaser for their upcoming album Mantis. The track features industrial powerhouse Chris Connelly of Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Pigface, and his prominent solo career, fame.
It's an excellently enticing track, more of the lush dark electronic soundscapes SINE presented on first album Insomniae. However this track feels a little more polished, and the mix is fantastic. Desolate District has a lovely melancholic allure, a seductive grime that pervades the track. The back and forth of the vocals is well executed, a blend of both sweet and bitter. The track displays a subtle mastery over the elements present in the first album, a bit more comfort and the aforementioned polish with the overall sound. I look forward to the full album, which as of yet does not have an official release date.
You can get the track from SINE's Bandcamp, as well as first album Insomniae and the Injected EP!

Damned
Crawl
Four tracks showcasing the agonized depths of traumatic perseverance. Eerie ambience intermixed with drudging, pounding despondency and venomous retaliation. The album is loneliness, despair, disgust, and hatred sculpted by tormented screams, steadily crashing drums, macabre samples and haunting bass. Simultaneously desolate and claustrophobic, it's an abyss that glares back at the listener.
It can be purchased via Bandcamp, Profound Lore Records, and the band's website.

One Nightmare Unto Another from Profane Order
Absolutely massive, cavernous, howling War Metal. This album is a full sprint towards the finish line without a second to breath. Every track is exciting, and while the album sometimes feels like the ride is over too soon, you can tell there's zero filler. It's straightforward, adrenaline-inducing aggression from beginning to end. The riffs are tight and catchy, the drums never cease thundering, and the vocals roar spectacularly.
It can be purchased via Bandcamp and Nuclear War Now! Productions.
