I absolutely love the development between Fourth Wing and Iron Flame where Violet goes from trying to hide her fragile joints by doing the wraps in secret to her bond with her squad being so tight that during the course of Iron Flame each one of them asks to make sure she's got her wraps on. And without any derision either, just because they care so much. They're a family!

I would just like to add that if Violet wasn’t in the battle all of them would have been dead not just Liam and soliel. They were being sent to die every single one of them and they would have done if not for this decision. As Imogen said before they went off when ridicule or someone said it’s like will be in battle she said ‘we actually might be in one’ or something like that but she was getting prepared to fight for her life.
