lol no yeah this tae was selfish and he didn’t necessarily love oc but it’s not like he didn’t care about her, he didn’t really approve of how obsessed yoongi was of her and always was protective when she’d be in any sort of situation (like when she tells yoongi to stop touching her, or pep talks her before jimin sleeps with her etc) like he basically doesn’t like that she’s in danger. he makes sure she knows he doesn’t want to hurt her

I would say they were actually kind of friends. like they had that understanding and trust (to an extent). that’s more than any of her other relationships with the boys, emotionally anyway. except maybe joon.
