something holding me back is that i dont know how well ive explained oc's background or like what yall have picked up on versus what i need to better explain. i dont want this to be too hard to follow like death valley was...not to totally beg for asks LMAO but like actually, do feel free to drop some feedback or reactions / ask questions it very much helps and is motivating

but i wouldn’t really say nexus namjoon is like conrad…he was always mean to nexus oc when they were younger not like sweet but she just thinks he’s the hottest ever and craves his approval. feel like belly liked that conrad was nice to her yk? namjoon and oc are much more e2l energy. namjoon is jealous of oc for a lot of his childhood and resents her. does that change? has that changed? hmhmgmgm 👀

but yes, jeremiah and belly do somewhat resemble jin and oc !!

I loooove how you portrayed death valley jimin! I am only in chapter 3, and even though he is somewhat a bad guy, it is soo refreshing. He is typically portrayed as all cheerful and giggly in fanfics, so DV jimin showing this edge (that i he usually hides 😏) really hits the spot! Thank you for your work!

death valley is so. good. like, i know youve heard this already but i need to emphasize it and remind you of it. the complexity of the plot, despite your intentions of it being a casual fun, smutty, wild fic is really good. everytime i reread it im like. woah

i was very inspired when i wrote dv (at least those initial chapters) and lately its been harder. i swear i work on it every week but i keep scrapping and starting over. its just been an ordeal - but not abandoned. i am truly sorry for the wait. nevertheless, THANK YOU FOR THIS <3 <3

Ok—my thought is that Joon killed (or had someone kill) Yoongi. My reasoning is when Namjoon comes to the realization that HE and YOONGI were alike in their obsessive desire (love?) for Y/N.

How far off am I? Like on a scale of 1 (grrlll—you crazy) to 5 (hmmm—some merit) to 10 (WOW!! Get out of my head!!).

Just want to say again that this series is AMAZING!!!! It has become my part of my nightly routine and I really like that!!

Your writing technique is so varied (but in NO WAY scattered!) and flexible. The way you took the time to not only introduce each character, but made us readers feel like we actually KNOW these individuals on a deeply personal level is next level BRILLIANT!! I’ve never read ANY story where I felt personally connected to the characters and what happened to them. You know when you start reading a good story and it gets deep too quick (or not quick enough,lol) or the warnings say “Slow Burn” and you finish the story and 4 years later you’re STILL waiting on that “Slow Burn”? NONE—AND I REPEAT NONE— of those things happened with Death Valley.

I read your notes after your last chapter and I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND how this series has literally wrung you out. Just please know how much excitement, drama, thrills, tension, joy AND HAPPINESS this series brought me. I’m a little bit older and have kidney disease that keeps me home (most days) and your writing has brought me happiness.
