What’s holding you back from finishing nexus?
the hardest part, for me, is always: the hook & reel.
i feel like i need to give someone a reason to commit to a series on here. i fully am aware that the smut is the main reason people read my work, so i want people to come for the smut but stay for the characters, plot and exhilarating journey.
the plot i have so carefully fleshed out, its not always 'sexy' - especially not until things really get set in motion. early chapters are crucial to attracting readers but a lot of it is just character building...i dont wanna move too fast either
at this point, i have a ton of scenes written out, its a matter of deciding how to present them. i originally planned part 2 to be an introduction of the reader's relationship with yoongi, because i wanted to stretch out the jin sexual tension longer (so that if/when it climaxes, it would be that much more satisfying). the issue with focusing a whole part on yoongi now is that part 1 leaves you with questions about the Kim family, namely taehyung and namjoon - and the role they play in all this.
so i think i have decided to make yoongi more of a soft entrance in part 2 instead of making the whole part about him...but we will see
there is no way for me to make smut the 'capturing scene' so to speak, it will likely be towards the end, so im worried if people would bother to read it in this case...we will see. im playing with the idea of throwing another smut scene to capture interest but the thing is, nexus oc isn't as promiscuous as dv oc was...so she honestly isnt always fucking everyone all the time...
some steamy sexual tension will have to do ;)

Hello I’m new here and I’m just getting into your writing and OMG it’s soo good. I want read DVF but which one should I start with first or they can all be read out of chronological order or together with either version. Thank you!!! 💜💜
hello pretty anon!!! welcome <3 thanks for the sweet words omg, made my day :)
you can start with Part 0 and go chronological if you want the thriller/mystery-ish experience with trying to figure out whos lying whos bad etc - which is what id recommend, but you're of course welcome to go about it however youd like!! the diff versions dont really matter in until after part 10 but before that it is all the same! hope that makes sense - let me know if you have any other questions!!
realizing now that’s NOT what you asked lmao I’m dumb — you can read the finales depending on what experience you want!! I’d go straight for the dark though ;)))))
hope you enjoy death valley and def let me know what you think <3<3
will you make more jk x reader innocent smut? trully love them hope to have more in the future<3
im so glad you enjoyed them!
if im being honest i dont have anything like that planned...i may dabble in that style with other members, but you never know! if im in the mood one day, its not off the table ;)

okay im done HAHAHA thats enough for now
placebo; the science of love (m)
where you're assigned a soulmate under the impression that its backed by science of compatibility that hopes to promote healthier, long-lasting, and loving relationships. your soulmate, [a member], doesn't seem like your type at all, but belief in the system, in the science, makes you try. eventually, you begin to fall in love.
then one day, you accidentally come across evidence that your soulmate assignment was a placebo. a control arm of an experiment that wanted to see if the science was actually accurate or if simply thinking someone was your soulmate was enough to promote better relationships. except now, you're convinced that your feelings are real. within a system that manipulated you into believing something that may not work does, you're no longer confident in your own truth.
will you still love him now that you know the science is wrong? or would chance have it that you did find your soulmate after all? to find answers, you seek out the scientist behind the experiment, [another member]. and everything you thought you believed about love gets challenged when you run your true compatibility experiment and he turns out to be perfect for you...
