“Wow! Really? You wanna be my bestest friend?” I squeal, sounding excited, stopping the swing with my feet digging in the wood chippings, probably ruining my pink tennis shoes.

“Y-Yes, I like you a l-lot” He replies stammering nervously, stopping his swing too, I squeal again, getting off the swing to rush him cuddling him. Kookie’s mouth is gaped open in a little O shape, his cheeks are bright red and his pretty eyes are really wide.

“I LOVE MY NEW BEST FRIEND!” I yell out kissing his cheek in excitement.

“L-Love you t-too. You are like m-my princess toy I have. S-So I’m gonna call you princess!” Kookie stutters with a huge smile on his face. He is so adorable, I love his smiles and his red chubby cheeks with a dimple in. We play on the roundabout and then on the see-saw, then we play on the slide again.

When my Momma tells me that we have five more minutes left and we are going home because it’s going to rain, I pout, feeling sad.

We decide to spend our last five minutes of time on the swings, Kookie is talking more now and is telling me about his toy figure collection. I tell him I want to see them, Kookie tells me that he will ask his Mommy if I can come and see them soon.

“Kids! Time to go home as it’s starting to drizzle, let’s hurry before we all get wet and get sick!” Kookie’s Mommy is standing up calling us both over to them.

“Quick princess, it’s raining! W-We have to. . . to go home. L-Let’s go!” He giggles cutely, grabbing my hand this time and quickly pulling us to our Momma’s. I giggle too, letting him guide me. My Momma takes another picture of us holding hands, then another one telling us to smile.

“Mommy, can Alice come see m-my toys? I wanna show her m-my princess t-toy because it looks like her!” Kookie asks his Mommy, looking hopeful as he waits for her reply, I’m looking up at her with a pleading expression, hoping for a yes too. My Momma chuckles while taking more pictures of our puppy dog expressions.

“Ahhh, you two are just too damn adorable. Maybe tomorrow, as long as Alice’s Mommy says it’s okay, Kookie”She awes at us as we look to my Momma for an answer.

“Yes I think that would be okay, we are not busy tomorrow afternoon. Alice is going to be going to your school as of tomorrow, so we can come to your house after school” Momma replies grinning at our shocked faces.

We both gasp in shock at this news, I knew that I’m in a new school tomorrow but not with my new best friend Kookie.

“Alice is coming to b-be at my school too? With m-me?” Kookie stutters with wide eyes and his Mommy nods at him with a grin.

“YAY! I get to go to school with my new best friend!” I celebrated, cuddling Kookie again, I can’t wait to go to school. Momma takes new pictures of us cuddling and tells Kookie’s Mommy that she will get some copies made.

“Let’s go home then, Alice” Momma tells me, holding out her hand. I sigh looking at Kookie with a pout.

“Awww I’m gonna miss you, Kookie. I will see you at school” I exclaim, hugging him tightly, he hugs me back and pecks me on the cheek with bright red cheeks as I giggle at him.

“M-Miss you too princess, can’t w-wait to s-see you at school!” Kookie beams at me scrunching his nose and I can’t believe how cute he is, like a bunny rabbit.

“Bye bye bunny Kookie. See you tomorrow!” I grin waving to him as Momma straps me into my booster seat, I even wave out of the window seeing him waving from his Mommy’s car.

I’m really excited to go to my new school tomorrow and see my new best friend Kookie. I didn’t ever have a best friend before, I’m so happy to have a new best friend like Kookie.
