He will lure you in, unassuming, and then it’s too late. The anglerfish goes after smokers, like Jon, and becoming an avatar functions as an addiction metaphor… what a podcast

Underrated Jonathan Sims moment when he puts out a call for a statement from a computer hobbyist in hopes of finding someone who can break him into Gertrude's laptop. And the woman who answers gives one of the most memorable, spine-chilling, true-to-form-internet-horror statements at the pinnacle of what TMA horror can be. And Jon's like "happy for you or sorry that happened anyway can you hack into this laptop for me?"

I miss tma season one when Jon puts his whole archivussy into a statement and then ends it by saying "yeah lmao this probably didn't happen. I asked Martin to look into it and he found nothing because he sucks and I hate him. Tim got me more information, probably because he's such a fucking slut. Sasha was also very useful. I love Sasha because she's so dependable and trustworthy. Nothing bad will ever happen to Sasha to make her less dependable or trustworthy."
