She and her family have been displaced from their home by occupation bombing, and were forced to flee shelters under threat of IOF assault numerous times before finding space in Nuseirat refugee camp. If the name sounds familiar, it is because Nuseirat was recently the site of a massacre by the IOF, in which the occupation bombed the tents of displaced civilians and killed hundreds of innocent people.

Lina and her family plan to repair their severely damaged home as soon as possible. However, the office of her law practice was completely destroyed, and she will have no income for the foreseeable future.

Lina was the sole breadwinner of her family, and now without income, they have no hope of restoring their home.
