Lina Zeyad Is An Attorney From North Gaza. She And Her Family Have Been Displaced From Their Home By
Lina Zeyad is an attorney from north Gaza. She and her family have been displaced from their home by occupation bombing, and were forced to flee shelters under threat of IOF assault numerous times before finding space in Nuseirat refugee camp. If the name sounds familiar, it is because Nuseirat was recently the site of a massacre by the IOF, in which the occupation bombed the tents of displaced civilians and killed hundreds of innocent people.
Lina and her family plan to repair their severely damaged home as soon as possible. However, the office of her law practice was completely destroyed, and she will have no income for the foreseeable future.
Lina was the sole breadwinner of her family, and now without income, they have no hope of restoring their home.
Please help Gazan families stay in their beloved community. You can help Lina and her family repair their home and continue living in Gaza by visiting the link (https://gofund.me/de10f8c6) below. Donations have stopped, and they are far from their goal. All shares and reposts are greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I feel like there's this conception in many fandoms, especially cyberpunk, that the more 'expensive' experiences you have, the bigger of a fan you are.
It may sound ridiculous, but I frequently see people being congratulated for being big fans of cyberpunk when they spend a ton of money to go do fun cyberpunk things. While that is sometimes a testament to being a big fan, itâs also important to remember that money isnât and shouldnât make a person the pinnacle of a fandom. On the same note, somebody isnât âlessâ of a fan for not being able to afford these experiences.
I'm just here to say that somebody who meets the actors, gets all the cool merch, has the best PC rig, and is known by name by the devs is not automatically a bigger fan than a person who has none of that stuff. In fact, I think it's quite ironic that we look up to people for spending money on these experiences as though the game we play isn't criticizing wealth inequality, lol.
That is not to say that you can't buy merch or have funâ I'd be a total hypocrite if I was claiming that since I do like to splurge on cyberpunk related things from time to time. All I'm saying is that it's unfair to think of someone as the pinnacle of a fandom solely due to their privilege. I'm also not vagueposting about anybody in particular here; just referring to multiple miscellaneous instances of this that I've seen.
Your fan status is determined solely by how much you like the game. Not how much stuff or experiences you have under your belt.
love train! send this to all the blogs you love! donât forget to spread the love!
AHHHHH LIKEWISE â¤ď¸đĽş youâre too sweet!!!!!
a mask changes everything. you can have the most cringefail guy ever and people will listen to them when their face is covered by a cool enough mask
I genuinely really really appreciate that cyberpunkâs trans characters donât face any adversity due to their transness. Thatâs something that happens in real life constantly. I face it. Itâs realistic, if you will, but itâs good as fuck to see characters not deal with it. 2077 is a horrible year to be alive. Night City is a horrible place to live. I'm sure people are still transphobic because it's something that will likely never go away no matter how far in the future it is, but god, is it nice to not see it.
Claire and Jago both face adversities in their respective missions. But it has nothing to do with them being trans. Itâs because theyâre competition, and theyâre fierce competition. Both of them are successful and respected, and seeing this in Jago especially was something that led me to accepting that I was trans after struggling with this realization for a very long time. It's a minute detail in the grand scheme of cyberpunk 2077, but portraying trans people as successful and respected will always be incredibly, incredibly important.
"Project Cobra revolved around experimental encephalic chips used to alter a subjectâs stimulus processing and gain temporary control of their actions when activated. The chips, better known as Cobra chips, would be installed in the frontal lobe and served as filter for any stimuli and signals, amplifying and reducing them to alter the subjectâs reactions, reflexes, and alertness to the userâs needs. Through correct installment and use of various cybernetic enhancements, implants, stabilizers and stimulants, the subject could be turned into a shell of a person without any free will, essentially turning them into an obedient supersoldier." â Excerpt from the article on Arasaka Special Programs
