Good Lord The Ptsd From That Fucking Helicopter Is Strong
good lord the ptsd from that fucking helicopter is strong
also, in the song "the duel" in dmc 5's soundtrack (vergil bossfight as dante iirc), if you really focus, you can hear that helicopter's boss theme
once i heard it i couldn't unhear it ;-;
I hope if dmc6 becomes a thing it’ll bring back the possessed helicopter and *checks notes* evil tanks

i had a thought
in the end of dmc 5, Vergil says they need to "seal the portal with the Yamato".
what does that mean. my thought? He isnt just going to use the Yamato like a tool to close the portal. No, rather, the Yamato is like the lock that will keep the gate shut. Which would mean he'd have to leave it behind.
What only added to this thought was the main menu screens of Vergil and Nero or Dante sitting together in the van. This is most likely a stretch, but, Vergil has never been seen without the damn thing in any time he shows up ever; Yamato is nowhere to be seen in either those scenes.
Food for thought? Possible idea for fics?? A completely bonkers theory that doesnt make sense at all??? Idk. All of the above.
Some examples (apologies for shitty camera im taking photos of my monitor)

First a really obvious one, its easier to see this way since its viewed from behind. Personally i wouldnt reach for a weapon with anything but my dominant hand, or at least preferred hand. He also reaches for and uses Blue Rose with his left hand.
Anyways, some more pictures of Nero using his left hand to attack:

(He could've been right-handed/ambidextrous when he was younger, possibly becoming left handed once he got the devil bringer since he wouldn't have been used to it + kept it in a cast to keep it hidden. And of course losing his right arm in dmc 5. Either way, i like seeing left-hander characters in games. Its a small detail, but to somebody, its probably quite important)
ALSO i would like to bring it to everybody's attention incase it hasn't been already that Nero is left-handed
