back with art! This one for my writing collab with @geryongreen! (sorry gery it wouldn't let me tag you properly, lmao.)

"You cut your hair," Tavros says. Rough.

"Yeah," Aradia runs her fronds through the shorn strands. "It was getting annoying."

The look of sheer misery that forms on Tavros's face after she says that is so shocking she sits still and looks at him, frondpalm still hovering inches from her face, waiting for him to comment. The expression disappears, but she continues to stare.

"I could have helped," he says. His hair is falling into his eyes and there are woodchips on his shirt.

"I can cut my own hair, thanks," Aradia replies, though she's pretty sure she doesn't know what he means.
