Have You Had A Nice Weekend?

Have you had a nice weekend?

Indeed.

I might be falling in love with the person I spent it with, but who knows.

What painting do you look most like?

And what painting would you most like to be in?

Femme Chauve-Souris by Albert Joseph PĂ©not: that's exactly how my body looks like: soft but I have a good figure.

However, I would love to be in The Birth of Venus, by Botticelli. I always love going back to Florence to just stare at it.

Thanks for the question!

Are you telling me that the allure and mystery of getting questioned by an anonymous stranger isn't enjoyable?

Cinnamon is definitely a lovely scent, I can't disagree with that at all. Although as you say. I imagine it's somewhat difficult to source during the summer?

Personally I'm a huge fan of fresh baked bread, the smell of the ocean and also weirdly when you can small a faint hint of bleach.

I didn't say it wasn't enjoyable. I am just curious about where all this interest comes from.

What a lovely answer to the questions about the paintings, and a very cultured one too.

Do you find there's much crossover between your philosophy and your music studies?

I truly do not think there is any kind of crossover between philosophy and music.

Philosophy keeps me alive by creating questions I will never be fully capable of answering. It does not persue truth, but understands that what we really need is doubt. That is to survive, at least.

It's raw and cruel. And needed.

It likes to slap me in the face and prevent me from breathing. Philosophy is the reason I lose sleep and spend most nights at the library. It's why I can't seem to ever be able to stop talking so fast or hyperventilating.

My piano gives me clarity and whispers as if it were scared to startle me. Even when I'm playing Prokofiev, who's supposed to shake you to your core, I am at peace. Music caresses me and holds me as no one ever could do. I am fragile and vulnerable, and life seems to be placid when I am in its presence.

It puts me to sleep and tucks me in. It never forgets to kiss my forehead. Nothing exists and every thought I have ever had disappears into thin air.

It's all about balance: one would make me kill myself horribly and painfully, meanwhile the other would put me to sleep forever in its warm arms. My soul demands both to keep me here.

In neither scenario do I have any kind of answers, though. I'm starting to accept it lol.
