My chemistry teacher started talking about trans and cis in class (I don't know how they're used I had a math exam later so I was studying for that) and it surprised me that no one in my class did a trans joke or some shit like that because most of them are very open conservatives, what surprised was that it was my teacher who started the conversation on the matter, she said she was supportive (lie) and then mentioned something about how we queers want people under the age of 12 to transition? Like where did you read that? (Probably a right-wing newspaper)

Then later she talked about a podcaster who invited a trans woman and they talked about her transition and her surgery (she has fully transitioned), sadly the woman suffered a lot of complications post surgery and my teacher was so offended because of that, because how dare a trans woman talk so easily about her transition and the complications! Like, how are they supposed to talk about it? Burst into tears everytime they talk about it?

It's not like bi men and bi women are counted as one group and gay men and lesbians are counted as separate groups

The most represented group and the most privileged group in the whole lgbt+ Community. The name really needs to be changed to LGTQ+
