He's a bad influence

Okay, my boy Bella has taken to shaking the sides of his cage when he wants something. I have no idea how he learned this.

So NOW, my guinea pig ALSO shakes the sides of her cage when she wants something. I think she can see him through the kitchen.

Not only that, whenever one of them gets a treat the other HAS TO HAVE that treat.

Thanks so much for the answer! I couldn't go off anonymous because this isn't my main blog ^^° He doesn't lunge, growl, or show the whites of his eyes when I need to pick him up. Hopefully he isn't too stressed then, but I'll of course keep being careful.

Hi! I'm fairly new to owning rabbits, but a lovely four year old bunny came into the family recently. He's extremely nice, clever and inquisitive. I worry though, that because we move him twice a day from his run to his cage (which are on different floors) he may be stressed, or in the very least disgruntled. I know most house rabbits have their run and their cage right next to each other, but he would be lonely if this were true. Is moving him so often okay, or too stressful?

Some rabbits are stressed more easily than others. The best way to figure out if moving him twice a day is too much, is for you to closely examine his body language. When you are moving him watch his ears, nose and eyes. Rabbits won’t necessarily grunt or honk when upset by something but sometimes that’s how they show fear or anxiety. If you can see the “whites of his eye” then I’d suggest moving him less. If you are already moving him frequently then he is most likely used to the routine already.
